5/31/23 - I've edited my review & raised it to 5 stars! Mr Rohr reached out to me & when I called him he explained the error. He had me text him a copy of the receipt so he could use it as a training opportunity with his staff. When I did, he called me back & let me know that it's not the dressing that's an extra $1, it's having the seasonal salad as a side. Ah! Good to know for next time! As someone who has worked in Customer Service for a long time, I appreciated his quick response & "the buck stops here" attitude! It's clear to see why the service at CSC is so great! 5/21/23 - (3-star review)I really do like the food & the service has always been pretty fast. I've got a big problem though with the extra charge for dressing. I've ordered the Seasonal Salad a couple of times as a side when I got the sandwich. I didn't notice until I did the survey on the receipt that I was charged $1 for dressing. Seriously?!! I looked at a previous receipt & saw that I was charged the $1 then, too. I can't believe this place feels it's okay to charge that much for less than 1/4 cup of dressing! My biggest problem is that the cashier never mentioned it. When asked what dressing I would like, then listing them for me, at no time (either time) did the cashier say "By the way, the dressing is an extra charge." Do they expect people to eat their salad dry? I've never been to any food place that charges extra for dressing. It would be like charging extra for the lettuce & tomato on the sandwich (while offering it without mentioning an upcharge). This has definitely changed my opinion about CSC, as I feel it's cheating or unethical to do that without telling you, & I won't be eating here as often as I had planned to. Read moreThe older white lady working there with a southern accent and white short hair was very rude and unfriendly and didn’t seem to wanna work that hard. She looks to be in her late 60s or 70s. I think her name tag said blackroot or something. The way that she spoke to me, made me feel like it was an inconvenience for me to come into the restaurant and order food. She spoke in a condescending way and made me feel unwelcome. I saw the other employees working hard and picking up the slack (cleaning, cooking, and restocking), while I overheard her gossiping about customers that annoyed her and laughing. I could tell the other employees that had to listen were annoyed of her by their reactions, but they just keep their mouth shut and kept working while she just stood there. It seems like the other employees just have to deal with her there and are probably sick of it. To be honest, I frequent a lot of fast food places, and I have never been met with such a rude attitude, even at McDonald’s or Burger King. I definitely do not feel welcomed by her at this location. The other employees were smiling and pleasant but unfortunately her presence overshadowed the whole experience. I think she must think that she’s the manager the way she walks around there. Maybe she is, but, maybe she shouldn’t be…bless her heart .. i’m sure the other employees are afraid to speak up about her, but it should definitely be looked into. I feel for them. Read moreThink before you go to the one in Brooksville off 50. Near sam club. I know I will not be going no more I could not even eat my food. It was every stressful there just to order. The manager was worried over the cup I bought. I ask how much and if free refill when ever I come in and the one side yes so I bought one and then her manger took abd told her no after I pay for it and the manager keep saying she could refund it and even try taking it from me I told her never mind about it that my step uncle is trying to give his order. And all she can say is I can give refund and then she keep saying that she can raise it out and I told her no. Because my uncle was about to walk out because he try to do his order but because I pay for mine he stay and Finley after I side enough about the cup take my uncle order and there is other people in line. It should not have been like this. Never again will we be going there.
I the owner called on the 7-4-2023. Just to find out my side of what happened and all he could do is say say is sorry and the employee and manger is new . Really. His manger and employee could not say sorry to my step uncle or me why were there and could not even come to the table . And the owner just keep repeating him self that he new business owne. And I told him every thing. We will not be going there again. And all the owner can do is keep sayin the same thing over and over.
