Dear Ms. DiBenidetto,
We value our customers and stand behind our products here at Men's Wearhouse. I'm sorry to hear about your disappointment with the purchase made for your son last January, but I must take issue with your reviews due to several inaccuracies. Your purchase was for $1400 for 3 suits, 3 shirts, 3 ties, and tailoring. Your son returned to our store two months later after ripping the pants at work. He candidly told us that the items he carries in his pockets likely caused the tear. I agreed, yet I still replaced the entire suit for him for free on March 1st, nearly two months after the initial purchase. While not obligated to do so, I was happy to do this for your son.
A few months later myself and another co-worker saw Ron at his place of business, which we support on a regular basis. If that Saturday night was any indication of a typical shift, I must say Ron is an extremely hard worker, and his employer is lucky to have someone on hand who hustles like that. When we had a brief moment to chat, Ron let us know that he hadn't been back to Men's Wearhouse because he needs uniform-strength slacks which can be worn hard and washed; not wool dry-clean-only suits. Unfortunately, that is a product line I cannot fulfill.
Given these facts, I was surprised to hear that you attempted to return the worn merchandise nearly five months after you purchased them - and after I'd already gone the extra mile of giving you a complimentary replacement once.
As members of the Reading community, we will continue to support Ron's business with our own dollars. We take pride in our city, and although our suits may not meet the needs of Ron's profession, I can assure you that Men's Wearhouse will continue to thrive and grow here for many years to come for the many people who are in need of...
Read moreI needed a very unique color tie for me and my groomsmen. One that only menâs wearhouse carried. I was frustrated to find out that I could not purchase the tie because it is a proprietary color so I had to rent them and deal with that miserable process instead. My trip to the store involved a 30 minute wait outside of a locked and understaffed storefront. Once we I was acknowledged after 30 minutes, I was then able to place my tie rental. Fast forward to the day before the wedding, the ties had not yet come in and I had no assurance from the clueless staff that the ties would even arrive before the wedding. The ties did then show up on time. I picked them up the night before the wedding. As me and the groomsmen were getting dressed for the event, we realized that they had in fact sent us bow ties instead of long ties like we ordered. 4 months for them to get their act together and they give me the wrong product, only for me to find it out on my wedding dayâŠ..After a total of literally 3.5 hours of time spent on the phone waiting for a rep, I did indeed get a refund which was 20% of the original rental cost and it came in the mail 2 months later. I later requested a full amount refund and was provided that. This didnât mitigate the mistake of the ridiculous looking bow ties that they sent us, but it was something. I waited 6 months to cash their check. I hope I at least messed up their accounting. What a hot mess of a company. Your Reading, PA location may be your prized...
Read morePurchased a suit for my wedding from Men's Wearhouse. Made it very clear that I had 3 groomsmen who would need to RENT the same suit. Had one of my groomsmen go in to RENT the same suit and was told that this particular suit wasn't for rent and could only be purchased. Never once while I was trying the suit on or buying it did the salesperson mention this to me. In general, the salesperson seemed very uninterested in helping me as they didn't say much and were constantly looking at their cell phone. Had they mentioned this I would have looked at different suits. When I reached out to Men's Wearhouse about this, they basically told me to "kick rocks" and there was nothing they could do. I'd have to pick a rentable suit similar to mine for the groomsman and if I wanted the same suit as them, I'd have to buy another suit or rent it on top of the original suit I paid for. Gave my information to the lady on the phone which she stated she would give to the store manager to call me back. I've never heard back from the store manager and now I'll be taking my business elsewhere. I will never recommend Men's Wearhouse to anyone. I'm sure they'll give the generic response they give everyone who leaves a 1 Start Review: "We hope you give us another chance, so we can provide a more positive experience." Maybe it you promptly fixed the issues that you caused your customer's they would have a...
