As a full-time working mother 6 months postpartum, I was genuinely looking forward to a rare self-care day. It had been months since I had time to leave the house and do something for myself. Unfortunately, what was supposed to be a relaxing and restorative experience turned into a mentally and emotionally draining day.
I arrived 10 minutes early for my appointment but waited over 30 minutes to be seen. I had Ubered to the location and was on a tight schedule, as I needed to be back home for my husband to leave for work.
The nail technician did not communicate any delays and later explained that she had rearranged my appointment time to accommodate a regular client who was running late. She openly admitted she assumed I had nothing else scheduled for the day. I found this extremely unprofessional and presumptive, especially considering we do not know each other personally. When I expressed that clear communication would have helped avoid much of the stress, she maintained her stance and repeated that accommodating the other client took priority.
Due to the unexpected delay and poor communication, I had to cancel the additional services I originally intended to receive. I came prepared to spend upwards of $500 beyond the Groupon voucher I had purchased, as I was treating myself in anticipation of my upcoming birthday. Instead, my time, money, and energy were wasted.
I will be requesting a refund for my remaining vouchers and will not be returning. Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling unseen and disrespected as a new client. If you value your time and clear communication, I cannot recommend this...

I am from Houston, Tx and I was in Las Vegas for the weekend, googled where I could go to get one and this place came up but it was so disappointing and only 45 mins. I get a foot massage at least 3 times a month and they start massaging your temples, head and move to the arms and hands, after that they do your feet and to finish they massage your back and lower back. when I called the girl at Zen, I asked if they did foot massages and she said yes and that would cost me $50 for the whole hour and it was my brother and I so I paid a$100. I would not recommend this place at all, if they don't know what a foot massage is, they should not say that they do and rip you off. since I love foot massages I don't get them only in Houston, I try to get them even if I'm out of town so I know what a good massage is. SHAME ON YOU ZEN for taking people's money and not doing a good job! JUST TERRIBLE,...
Read moreAs soon as I entered the store, I was greeted and welcomed with a cheerful smile by the receptionist Naomi. She accommodated my needs and answered all my inquiries despite her being so busy.
They offer a variety of spa services, from facials to waxing, massages, and nail care, including manicure and pedicure. It's a one-stop shop that is perfect for relaxation and pampering.
I was told that the store is under a new name and new ownership and there are ongoing renovations to make it even more enticing, though the ambience is already giving that calming and relaxing vibe that I was looking for.
Overall, I would rate this spa 5 out of 5 stars. âď¸âď¸âď¸âď¸âď¸
