FORCED TO CHANGE MY PLAN AND UPDRADE MY PHONES?! On Friday, June 21st one of my phones was exposed to water. Saturday morning, I went to a woodlands locations to upgrade the phone that was damaged and to add a line. Everything was fine except the phones I wanted was not in stock. I authorize the lady to go ahead and add a new line (I purchased a sim card) and we would try another store. BIG MISTAKE was coming to this T-Mobile location. I spoke with a gentlemen there and explained exactly I wanted to do. He offered me a better plan that would allow me to get $800 of new phones. After spending 2 hours in store because he was trying to add two additional lines on my account. I told him and he seen on my account that I had already added a line. He canceled that line and changed my phone plan. Since I have left the store Saturday evening, I am unable to browse the web or access ANY apps besides the T-Mobile app. I have spoken with several representees trying to resolve these issues. Along with getting a refund for the sim card purchase for the new line that was canceled. i have not gotten that refund.
But I am now told that my phones are not compatible with T-Mobile system AND I NEED TO CHANGE MY PLAN. I was not having ANY ISSUES WITH MY SERVICE UNTIL I WENT INTO THE STORE. THE ONLY REASON I WENT INTO THE STORE WAS BECAUSE OF THE WATER EXPOSURE TO ONE OF MY PHONES. I believe T-Mobile has disabled my service. In hopes of me giving in to upgrading my plan and phones. Since I am not receiving the service, I am paying for I have decided to end my 15-year relationship with T-Mobile. I will also be contacting the BBB and the FTC about their...
Read moreWe had the worst experience at this store today. My husband traded his phone for a newer phone. According to Cexar, that helped us.y husband could trade his phone and would save $400.00. After leaving the older phone and reviewing the receipt, we noticed what seemed to be a mistake. It looked like at the bottom of the re receipt it said the offer given was for only 25.00. Huge difference! I immediately called customer service (611). De-andre basically confirmed that definitely it was not $400. He suggested to take the new phone and requested back the older phone. I called the store and Andrew, the manager basically said that what Cexar said was true. I mentioned that the receipt said something totally different. He basically got exacerbated and said he had 30 people to help and returning the older phone was impossible. I called customer service. Again I was told that I should let him know that we would need the phone back due to the wrong information given. I tried to let Andrew know that, but he completely lost his composure, and became very rude. He basically said the phone was not going to be returned to us. My husband thought dealing with this manager was useless. We couldn't believe how they could lie to sell a phone! I called customer service to make a formal complaint. My husband will also contact our state econsumer protection office for misleading and wrongful information. The new phone will definitely be returned, and we will find a different cellular wireless company. Andrew need to learn what customer service is. Cexar need to give accurate information...
Read moreBe careful there are absolute scammers that work at this location. Be sure to check your receipt. I am not sure if T-Mobile has promotions or a contest for its employees but in July my husband left out of the store with 3 phone lines instead of 1. He went to the store to JUMP to a new phone and the rep added two additional lines without our knowledge or consent and either kept the phones or gave them to a friend. I only found out about it bc they made a mistake and sent me a thank you message for adding a new phone line. I called the number that was added and someone picked up, so they gave the phone to someone. Today 10/6/23 I found out that they added my phone to a lease plan instead of installment plan and now the phone rep refuses to allow me to file a fraud claim via phone. I have to go online to file a complaint. The reps resolution was for me to continue with the lease and change it after 18 months, (or go back to the same store cancel my plan and start over, obviously paying additional fees) that only benefits the company not me. No one will know fraud has been committed if I allow it. Not only will I file another complaint with the company I will also file with BBB and the FTC and State government. They already had to pay out millions for allowing out personal information to be stolen, including myself. Now they want to rob its customers. They don't care its apart of their culture as a company. When I finally received a call from corporate the lady said oh the phones are free and its only $10 a month. .So its culture Trust me I...
