Ordered food at 11:30; 3 burgers with either fries or tots. Table next to us ordered two burgers with fries about 5 minutes before we did. 45 minutes later, the table next to us were handed the wrong order. Server dropped one of the next table's wrong orders on our table and walked off after we told them it's not one of ours either. Table next to us requested the manager several times before someone came to their table and told them they would re-order their food but the wait would be a half hour due to all of the on line orders they were filling. Customer responded that it was ridiculous to put their order behind every other order, including the orders that were behind their original order, before cooking their replacement order, and again asked to see manager, and was told again it would be about 30 minutes before they would get their order, and at that point requested to see the "f'n" manager and the person (female, with long bottle blonde curly hair) threatened to slap customer as she walked away to go back into kitchen . My table eventually got our order (two of us were finished eating by the time the 3rd burger showed up, also wrong) except for one order of fries, which we gave up hoping for. Table next to us left without their order because they'd been there over an hour and couldn't afford to waste more time. Not once did anyone apologize for the wait, the wrong orders, the fact that they wouldn't or couldn't produce anyone from management, or that what food was actually served was room temperature. Eventually a female worker did come out and refund several other customers' money, having a meltdown while doing so, yelling at the other workers and acting as if the customers were way off base for wanting the food that they were never served refunded and (shockingly) without apology. I have never seen a fast food joint run so poorly in my lifetime, and I'm pretty old. It is my personal opinion that not one person working there today is intelligent enough to work a toddler's shape sorter; they certainly were not bright enough to understand the very basics of customer service and if I were the district manager for that store I would replace every one of them, including the manager (whether they were there, hiding in the kitchen, or not there, for being stupid enough to leave with those particular employees were...
Read moreHORRIFIC!!!!!!!!!!!! This place is RIDICULOUS! FILTHY, STICKY, GREASY, AND DISGUSTING!!! My family and I were in somewhat of a crunch for time, so we were looking for a place that we could sit and dine some what quick. We just happen to be close to this Smashburger here on Cypresswood near 45 in Spring. Don't want to make this a Smashburger Slam. That's not my intentions. My intentions here are to be COMPLETELY focused on this one Cypresswood Location.
So.. We ordered food.... Looked, and looked and looked again for a clean table. 5 OPEN TABLES-NOT A SINGLE ONE CLEAN!! I had to clean my own table for us to be able to sit and eat. OH! Wait! Eat? Well I should say 2 of us. They didn't even bring my wife's or my youngest daughters food. They had to be reminded. And then they had to be reminded again. Finally brought out the food. And forgot the fries. I believe I would have to say that this was the worst experience I have had at any restaurant. And I didn't even mention the poor lady walking back to her table who slipped and damn near busted her ass on the nasty ass floor. She had to be embarrassed and pissed off at the same time. Cuz that's exactly what I felt for her. Look, I'm not one of those people who thrive on drama and trash every place that happens to screw up. Everyone has bad's days. I have never written a bad review in my entire 40 years of existence. I felt like this needed to be read and people need to know what to expect when they enter this Smashburger located on Cypresswood near I45 in Spring... And yes I did talk to management about this horrible experience. They gave us free milk shakes..... HA! I didn't want anything free. I wanted him to be aware of what his restaurant experience was...
Read moreThe last taking our order kept coughing into her hand and then she gave us our cups after sticking her fingers inside the cups with the hand she had just coughed in several times. I asked her 3 times if mayonnaise came on the burger, she said no. Come to find out later that it does in the form of smash sauce, so I had to go back and all them to make it without smash sauce. When they handed me the burger "without" smash sauce, it had smash sauce on it. Using the bathroom was absolutely disgusting. It was filthy and smelled like the inside of a sewage treatment facility. On the way out my mom slipped in the wet floor that hadn't been cleaned up. She almost fell. Nearly every table was dirty in the place and there was hardly anywhere to sit. We had 7 people at our table and 6 of us got our meals but the 7th person wasn't served until everyone else was finished eating. We had been there over half an hour until he got his burger. When the manager came to apologise for the delay, she said the grill kept turning off. Well why did all of the orders after us get served then? They all had their food while one of our family members waited and watched while everyone else are. The staff was overly stressed and it was apparent while we were in the dining room. There was so much tension between staff members. It was very apparent to be very poorly run. There was even a box of ketchup sitting on the floor soaking up for floor water. I left there $30 poorer and wondering if I was going to get sick from the food we just ate, and upset that the entire experience was so terrible. No wonder they closed all of their stores in Austin. The company is not going to last much longer...
