Ordered a suit on 7/11 for a 10/15 wedding. After several months of not hearing anything, I started getting concerned and called on 9/21. After fumbling, they told me it was being shipped from a different store and it hadn’t arrived but it should be in by that following Monday (9/26). I called Monday (9/26) to see if it had arrived and was told by a CSR that she wasn’t sure when it would be in and they would check emails and call the person in charge of the wedding when it arrived. I asked if that meant they were calling me and she reiterated that they would call the head person of the wedding, but not really telling me who that person was. I hung up pretty frustrated that I had no suit and no answers when the suit was to be delivered. I called right back to get a eta date and talked to Betty (manager and person who order the suit). She told me it would be in on Wednesday or Thursday, she was off on Thursday but would call me on Wednesday to let me know it was in or not. Wednesday comes, Betty calls, no suit. She will call me Friday when she gets in. She called me today (Friday) and the suit is not in and eta is now Monday (10/3). This gives our family 11-12 days to pick the suit up, try it on and get it hemmed if needed (which with a teenage boy, it may need to be). So currently, we have no suit for a wedding. Read moreI would only shop here again based on the price point. I was preparing for a funeral and bought a suit and the staff was rude, unprofessional and talked down to me while i was there. They sized me incorrectly for a shirt i got home realized it was to small. Went back and they resized me again giving me a shirt that was to small. The third time i took a few shirts to the dressing room with me to try on i was approached by a salesman was told i was not allowed to try shirts on because nobody would want to buy them if they didnt have the pins put back in them they suggested i buy the shirts take them home and see if they fit. I asked what the difference was in taking them home and returning them or trying them on before i left and i was told nowhere else in the city would allow you to try a shirt on before you bought it. I would have taken my business elsewhere however i had already paid for the suit and alterations so i was stuck. The only way i will shop here again is if the price was so good i could not find the deal anywhere else as the customer service and general lack of respect by the salesman has turned me off from spending my money...
Read moreJust purchased two suits. Extremely happy with the quality and price. Art put together shirts and ties with each suit along with a pair of shoes. Great pairings. Art was spot on with his choices and knew exactly what my shirt size was without me saying a word. Best customer service I've had in a long time. Will definitely be back and will tell my friends to go see Art at K&G.
My original review 2 years ago was a 5 star review. Have been back three times since then to purchase more suits. On this last purchase (Nov 2024) I was told at the pickup counter in the front they no longer steam or press the suits. The only alterations done was to hem the pants. I did not try them on in the store. Got home the pants were all wrinkled and the jackets needed to be steamed or pressed. They took were wrinkled. Still a good value to buy suits, but probably need to take them somewhere else to be altered and steamed or pressed. What a disappointment. I guess you get what...
