El Pollo Sabroson Fire Grilling — Restaurant in Sharonville

While walking to find a restaurant that my husband and I could dine in to eat at, we stumbled upon EL POLLO Sabroson. Upon entering the restaurant, I noticed very clean, tidy, & some-what authentic looking dining booths/tables. The menu board is written in English. Customer service was casual yet not what I would expect from a place like this. The man that took our order only rang up what we ask for. He didn't suggest any items (As it took me longer than normal look @ this overwhelming) so after my husband ordered a Beef Taco Salad... I opted for the "go-to" basic of the chicken fajitas. My husband paid & we went to the drink station and picked our drinks... then found a booth tucked in the front left corner of the restaurant. We sat for only a short moment and our food was served. We only waited about 10 minutes. The Beef Taco Salad was ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! Topped with a Blob of sour creme, tons of lettuce, and only about 4 chunked tomatoes. After digging through all of those ingredients, we FINALLY found the "Beef".... HOWEVER, the chicken fajitas I ordered came out sizzling, yet extremely dry with ABSOLUTELY NO SEASONING. Very bland onions, green peppers, and tomatoes. Luckily, the man brought the second part to my fajitas... which was a platter of unseasoned, over cooked, mushy rice. Very BLAND un refried beans (that's the only way to explain this) extra crispy fresh lettuce and of course... the BLOB OF sour creme. Now, I know what this may sound like... but please do not waste your hard earned money here at this restaurant. Your time wouldn't actually be wasted, seeing as the cooks and manager are pretty Punctual with the orders. Will NOT...

My 3rd time I have visited. 1st visit food was great, fresh grilled chicken. 2nd visit was OK, I requested refried beans instead of cold slaw, I was given cold french fries no refried beans, and we didn't get my 2 key lime pies so i had to go back. 3rd visit which was today, chicken was old, i ordered mild and hot salsa i got a tiny cup of green salsa only, and once again I requested refried beans instead of cold slaw. I was given a double fried rice and barely any refried beans. Order key lime pie and it's not fresh and Clearly the last slice of a old pie because it wasn't a $5.95 piece of pie. So... we stopped by this place on a whim to see what they were about. We ordered soft and hard chicken tacos and the Elote (street corn). The communication wasn't great because he told us the soft tacos were corn tortillas, but instead they were flour.. which we preferred flour, but probably would've ordered more if had known a head of time... the flavor of the chicken was really good and seasoned unlike some places where the meat is bland and dry. I didn't personally have the Elote, but the 3 other people that was with me tried it and it was a no for them. One said it was too salty and the other said it had a ketchup taste to it..
