I took advantage of the $99.00 Birthday Package for my daughter who turned four in January. Iâm writing my review based on my personal experience so other parents can make informed decisions.
Pros: The staff was very nice, I appreciated that they gave me a run-down of the scheduled activities for my daughter. Parking was fine for us and our guests. The games were all functional.
Cons: I booked my party online two months in advance. It was disappointing to note that the $99.00 birthday package was only available on a Saturday at 10am (not sure anyone would attend an am party) and the more expensive ones were available all day on Saturday. I was able to accommodate my daughterâs birthday party on a Sunday at 1:30. While the staff were nice, you could tell they were not adequately staffed for a weekend visit. The pizzas were unrealistically expensive; at check-in all I owed was a $50 balance due on the day of the party for the package. Because pizzas do not come with the birthday package I chose, I ordered one pepperoni pizza & one cheese pizza. My total increased from $50.00 to $119.00. Be prepared for the SEVERE lack of parenting here. Children between the ages of 6-10 were playing in the soda fountains, throwing napkins, straws, etc all over the equipment, station, and floor with their parents watching them do it. During the birthday celebration with Chuck E, they call for the birthday stars to come up and meet Chuck E, and unfortunately, every child in the establishment will, so your birthday child will likely be pushed to the back of the crowd. While you have a table dedicated to your party, they are seated directly next to other tables, and if the other table hosts a million guests, your table will be filled with their guests as well.
Overall, my daughter had fun at her party and loved playing games with her friends and thatâs what really matters. The party itself though was chaotic, and I do wish the staff would have stepped in a little more in...
Read moreBoy, I used to love going to Chuck E. Cheese all the time, as a kid, especially at this location. It used to be a party place to be, as they had animatronic shows, good games, good food, and even the atmosphere from when it was phase 3 and 4. Surprisingly, I went to this location more than Colerain, which was going downhill fast until its closure, even though I went there quite a lot. Back in the day, we used to call the Sharonville location Tri-County since itâs in that area. However, I stopped going there and other CECs after 2016 because of a huge drop in quality that the company has had, over the years. There were a couple of fights that occurred at this location, one of them was on the news. My dad heard a rumor about someone getting shot there, and I told him that wasnât true since no one got shot there, but some were severely injured in one of the fights. When the place was remodeled to 2.0 a few years ago, it was unexpected. They had to ditch the famous animatronic shows in favor of the dance floor, which from what I heard is that it is more expensive to run than the animatronics, so the place literally put themselves at financial risk. Not sure why Sharonville had to be chosen to be renovated. Maybe itâs because some elements were showing their age? Other changes are fine (including the atmosphere, play passes, and the food), but removing the animatronics is already a controversial move, and because of that, I am avoiding this and other Chuck E. Cheese locations at all costs, neither will I ever take my future kids there. If I were to go back, it would only be when I order myself food there through its disguise âPasquallyâs Pizza & Wingsâ just for a nostalgic purpose. Iâm not saying that the location is bad, itâs just the changes that this and the rest of the company itself have to make. Donât get me wrong, I can handle change, but the fact that the company has to remove the tradition of animatronic shows infuriates me and a lot of fans that care for what...
Read moreI had my daughter birthday party here yesterday 02/02/24 at 4pm and I was very disappointed... For starters I walked in and got nasty looks from the two girls standing as host... I told them who I was and they took me to the table. The party host that had a very nasty attitude came over explaining everything which she did a very horrible job... She told me she'll give me a couple minutes she definitely gave me two minutes my party starts to arrive and shes telling me that they are getting ready to bring the pizza out remind you it's only 420..I had a party of eight kids and adults as my guest arrive she comes out with pizza. The two medium pizzas were nasty and cold because they are sitting on these platter's cold I say again she tells us that they are going to stay hot. Lies and more lies and then she disappears The whole night she is gone I'm looking for her because I had to buy drinks for the kids she came over once to give us some drinks and through the whole night that's it because we couldn't find her anywhere.. Anytime we needed something we had to search for someone else and they really seemed as if they are they didn't give ashit..I even went to the front and another light skin Guy came and told me that I only had a hour and was rushing us.. So rude oh my God the kids didn't even get to play that many games and I had to buy socks for the bouncy house that wasnt included... Don't do it the party was a hot mess weed smells and the staff are all rude. I finally saw the manager once I already paid 250 he seemed like he really didn't give a shit that it was normal for this behavior...Never again older moms and dads beware it's ghetto and out to date and even if they say their short on party host they are definitely lying horrible experience.... Waste of time and money.. I'll stick to inhome parties because I was rushed the whole time and I overpaid for...
