When I purchased my couch, I was told that I would receive a phone call three days before my delivery with a three hour delivery window. I did receive a phone call three days before my delivery, but it was only to confirm my address. I was told that at the time The three hour delivery window was given that I could change it free of charge if it did not work for me. I was also told that if I changed my delivery date within 24 hours of the delivery date I would be charged. I did not receive this phone call with the three hour delivery window until 24 hours before my delivery date so how in the world could I have possibly changed it if I needed to? I was in told I receive a phone call within 30 minutes of them arriving. I was woken up to a text message at 6:30 in the morning and was told they would be here in 21 minutes. They did not arrive until over an hour later. now, if the roles were reverse and they were sitting at my house waiting on me for an hour, I don’t think that would even happen. This whole delivery experience has been a nightmare and unfair to me as the customer I should not have to pay $199 for a delivery fee only to be lied to and policies not...
Read moreI purchased a living room set from your store a little over a year ago on clearance and also opted for the extended warranty as recommended by Value City. Unfortunately, both recliners stopped functioning within the first year, despite my limited use.
When I filed a warranty claim, the repair company attempted to fix one of the couches, but it failed again just weeks later. Additionally, they never sent the replacement part for the other sofa. To my surprise, I recently discovered that my account was marked as ineligible for further repairs—even though the initial repair was unsuccessful and the missing part was never provided.
I have reached out to the store multiple times but have been met with little assistance and constant delays. At this point, I am considering seeking legal counsel, as I work hard for my money and expect the warranty to be honored. As a single mother, this is an unnecessary financial burden that I should not have to deal with.
I would appreciate immediate attention to this matter and a resolution as soon as possible. Please let me know how you intend to...
Read moreMy salesman was Vince Frosh. Let me start by saying that I own a business and i have a lot of sales experience. Vince greeted us immediately, and was not pushy with his sales technique. He was professional, knowledgeable, and seemed more focused on helping us find what we needed (not focused on making a sale). Vince moved furniture for us, helped us measure the size of a custom set, and was genuinely just a good guy that seems to love what he does. I couldn’t be more pleased with our experience.
Thank you Value City, and more importantly, thank you VINCE FROSH for the great experience. I left with a new set of furniture, and made a friend in...
