Spirit Halloween — Local services in Springfield Township

Did a little season shopping early this year so they didn't have much on the shelves just yet. But, our main stop was for a 5'4 skeleton. We bought one already from Walmart for $29.95. Went back for a second one and of course there were none left. With spirit Halloween open, we stopped by. Usually shop for costumes for our kids but figured they'd have skeletons. Well yes, the same exact one we bought at Walmart but for $89! Kroger also has the SAME ONE ( box and all) for $49. So.. like the skeleton everything else is high in price. Costumes for example. Our son's Batman costume lights up on the chest. We bought his from Walmart for $ $35 . But the one at spirit wasn't as nice, cheap looking and didn't light up was $59.

Now I don't want to compare. But it's kind of hard not too. We did buy a few items like every year. Most decor is better quality. But this isn't always the case with every item but the price difference is still noticable. If you have the cash spend it 🤷🏻‍♀️.

I'll add if you're comparing this to party city for example. Yes party city is cheaper but the quality is too.

Over all the store was clean, akward staff. Didn't seem to know which one was going to check us out. Not knowing who should be on register . But they were kind. No mask requirements to enter so this is a to each their own situation with mask's.

Awesome set ups this year I must add. Better than last year.

I think if we need a cape, blood for a look or candy bags prices aren't too bad and we will continue to shop. We did however get our second skeleton...

A couple nights ago there was 2 young girls who were very rude to the management staff, the management tried to explain a misunderstanding and these 2 girls were beyhond rude calling the staff names and in my opinion the management did the right thing to ask them to leave and one of the girls starting calling the staff member names and using bad language, this store has great staff and they have always helped costumers and they are amazing with explaining what spirit of children is and what the donations go to. Highly...

I wish there was a 0 star option, not only is the stores variety of products low but Me and apparently all the customers had Horrible service. The managers were in an argument with customers over some racial slur I believe a manager called them. Also there was some strange odor throughout the whole store I was about to check out my item but I just left instead....
