Five Guys — Restaurant in Springfield Township

I've never had five guys till today, and they are absolutely AMAZING. Not only is the food amazing but the place is clean, and the employees are so nice.

I had such big problems tonight with door dash. My god. I placed an order, while waiting drivers were switched about 3 times so at first I understood why they could have taken a while to deliver but at about the 2 hour mark my order was completely canceled, no refund or anything. So I called the store, found out that about 5 different drivers came in to pick up my order. Each one of them had canceled my order through door dash and kept it for themselves. When I called doordash customer service I was told that they can't help me, after arguing a bit they called a store to confirm that the order was even placed. The key word to that was "a" store, they didn't even call the store that I ordered from, then I had to look up the number myself to give them so they could call the correct one. So 2 hours later, in a very hangry state, I finally reordered myself and picked it up myself, everyone was so friendly and told me that they are so happy that I finally am getting my food. It was sooooo good, I'm wondering why I've never tried them before.

Food was good. Expensive though. Over $40 for just the two of us and we shared a regular fry. We waited about 20 minutes on a shake and even checked on it twice. When I explained that we hadn't gotten the shake the manager gave me a dirty look and exclaimed they were "kind of busy bro!" He didn't bother checking on the shake or asking anyone whether or not it was being worked on. About ten minutes later after two other customers walked out with shakes my wife went back to check on it again. This time the crew member started he didn't have an order for the shake. My wife then had to walk back and get our receipt to prove we had indeed purchased the shake. Afterwards she had to wait an additional 5 to 10 minutes before finally receiving her shake, after our meal was 90% eaten. Five Guys was great. People just want to be normal and have a great burger, fries and milk shake. The tables were few inside and some outside. Customers wore masks until they either sat to eat or left with their order in hand. The service was quick, friendly and turn around time allowed for a nice hot sandwich and fries. I love it when my order is served while still hot. There is nothing worse than cold fries 🍟 😒 Thankfully the cheeseburger with grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, lettuce and mayo was melt in you mouth delicious. The fries fresh and homey with malt vinegar was soooooo yummmy. The tables were sanitized after each use. Lots of parking and the facility is near most shopping centers.
