Wish I could give zero stars. Sent my son in there to get a washer they say 7 day return policy lf it stops working . First off they charge way too much for the items they get donated and they also sell items that people call to get free large item pick up from the city. Any how he pays and calls my husband to help him and pull to the part where u pick up and the guy tells them because he has a van that if they put it in there on its back then if it doesn't work when he gets it home we cant get a refund if it leaves the store. My sons say well I dont want it then cuz I have no other way to get it. The guys says no problem just go back up to the cashier and tell her you need a refund. He does that and the old rude lady says i do t think so you aren't getting your money back so he gets really upset cause hes not trying to allow them to keep almost $200 of his hard earned money. He dad says go outside son ill talk to her. He gets up there and shes still refusing so hes arguing w her n says im going outside n im gonna wait on the steps until i get my refund. He goes out there & calls the police . They come go in get the refund give it to him then start asking his name harassing both my husband and son. The police proceed to copy their plate info down and follow them away from the establishment to harass them. They pull my son over around the corner for no turn signal even tho hes recording everything and can see on his video. He gives the officer his state ID AND DRIVERS LICENSE AND THE COP ON FILMS SAYS so you don't have a valid license even though you can see in the officers hand both cards. So yeah. You couldn't pay us to return there. Also it's crazy how there are shootings 20 times a day in this city and the police are gonna spend their time harassing a couple of guys upset cause they want their money back for an item they were never in...
Read moreAlways a great place to find all types of items. If you are renovating your home, and would like to do so with low cost or trying to save some money, you should stop and see what they have to offer! Even if you're not worried about the cost I still highly recommend checking them out!! The prices are great and there's always a sale on many(most all) items!! The sale go off of a color chart and the start at 25%off,to 50%,&then 75%off. When you walk in you will always be greeted and 95% of the time the cashier who greets you will also hand you the savings chart!! I've never had any issues with any of the staff they all seem to be pleased to help and to try and answer your questions. This is the 2nd house we have renovated and have been able to find many items at VERY LOW cost! The best part is that your also helping others out when you shop with them as well. They go out of their way to put roofs over the less fortunates heads which in return helps keep children off the street,in shelters, or in a foster system sometimes! Consider this when you are having thoughts of buying items! On the other hand of things they are also a great place to donate items and if you call they will even come out to your place and pick the items up for free!! This too also helps others...
Read moreI called the beginning of May for a free pick up of some mattresses and a bed frame. The lady told me that my pick up would be May 31st and to have my items outside on the curbside the night before. I did as I was told and no one ever showed up on the schedule day. I then called 30 times on Saturday and no one answered the phone. First thing Monday morning I called and the lady told me she would pass my information on to her supervisor. The supervisor never called so I called back Tuesday morning and another lady told me she would pass my information on to someone else again. Someone called who was not the supervisor advising me that the delivery guys picked up my items already and to stop calling. I informed them that the items was still sitting outside in my front yard. They argued with me up and down. Very unprofessional and very rude!!! I will advise NO ONE to ever call them for ANYTHING!! so much for 6 items a year for a...
