Burger King — Restaurant in Springfield

They added tomatoes when I asked for none. I asked for no tartar on the fish sandwich and opted for ketchup instead, they put maybe two droplets of ketchup on there, and not only that but the fish patty was a BRICK. And just when you think it can't get worse, I go to eat my nuggets and WISH that I'd just stuck to the dino nuggies in my freezer, just LOOK AT THEMMMMM. How many YEARS has it been since y'all changed the oil in your fryers!?!?! I used to work a lot of fast food and restaurant jobs, I would NEVER hand these atrocities to my customers :( The employees there were very nice, but I think they may have been under the orders of an INCOMPETENT manager trying to save on material costs to look good for the higher-ups or something. That fryer oil NEEDS to get changed. We had already been disappointed by the Dunkin' Donuts that was nearby because they had only 2 out of 13 items we ordered and only told us they were out when we went out of our way to pick them up... I was hoping our valentine's day could be saved with some fast food instead of donuts and coffee, but this took our holiday and just. Beat it to death. Pounded it to dust.

Do not get any fried foods from here. Wait... that's like 75% of the menu....

I love me some Burger King sandwiches. The Whopper, fish, chicken, etc. I also think their breakfast croissants are far superior to anything out there from McD, Hardee's, etc.

And I realize you can run into a bad night but it was terrible tonight. I was third vehicle at drive-up in line and was there almost 13 minutes waiting on my Whopper and Big Fish. And when I paid, I could tell stress was high inside.

However, my order was simple: a Whopper with NO ONIONS and extra pickles and Mayo, along with the Big Fish with extra pickles and tarter sauce - I'm allergic to onions.

Well, I got my bag and drove off and wish I had checked it as the Whopper had onions and no extra pickles or Mayo. And my Big Fish...well, it too did not have the extra. But here is the kicker, BOTH WERE COLD and the Big Fish was OLD and overcooked AND cold.

This was just minutes after I left too. I will wait till tomorrow to call in as I don't want to add to their burden...

Again, it was definitely an OFF night for this location. I'll be back but checking things before I leave. Just hope my GI system handles the raw onion...

I do believe this will be my last visit. The cheeseburgers are more accurately sliders. This is not a thing that the store has any control over, Burger King has chosen profit margin rather than customer satisfaction. The drive-thru was empty save one car and we still waited in line for over 20 minutes (see reason #6). The buns were stale and solid like I've heard hard tack described. The cheeseburgers were loaded with mustard with ketchup nowhere to be found (again see # 6). Our 10 piece had only 8 nuggets. But the clincher, the one increasing failure that I have seen across the board, is: Surly staff that seems to have no desire to be there, and acts as though customers are wasting their time. And honestly, I feel as though making my (and my family's) food inedible was purposeful. I'm done and I encourage all to steer clear...
