New China — Restaurant in Springfield

The 1st time I had their food I had the sweet and sour chicken and vegetable fried rice and it was outstanding 100%.... However I ate there a couple of days ago and it was a pretty horrible experience as the older lady up front was very rude and told me to go sit down when I was trying To explain to her that I wanted regular fried rice in place of my white rice from the general tsue's platter that I had ordered.. Not to mention it was $2 just to upgrade regular fried rice from white rice with no vegetables in it or anything and I gotta say that rice totally sucked!!!!! Furthermore that chicken from that platter was extremely tough and a big waste of money and the rice had no flavor whatsoever so I'm not sure I want to eat there again because it was not pleasant due to that old lady's rude mouth!!! You would think there would be people that worked in front that speak regular English in order to comprehensively communicate in a way that is conducive but not...

Used to be my number one spot but I moved away. Got to try them again here recently and I feel like they've definitely made some changes. The staff were very polite and I saw they double checked everything was in my order which I feel many places don't do anymore. The crab Rangoon was to die for just like I remembered but the pork fried rice had a gamey taste and smell that I couldn't get past. My girls rice was also undercooked. The egg rolls were alright but nothing to write home about. I really hope this was just a fluke but I'm probably only going to load up on crab Rangoon the next time I get...

I order food from here every once in a while. And it's usually hit or miss to how much sauce they give you, even when requested.
