It’s been two years since my first post (see below) and I’m still visiting my favorite caffeine people at the Mohawk Springfield location! I wanted to add a video and a shout out to Emily and the Caffeine Crew.
They made a very special memory for me by letting me join in on their Kick Cancers Butt fundraiser. My Mom passed from breast cancer last year on Labor Day and this was a nice tribute to her fun and silly side.
I had stopped in for my usual 6:30am peach tea run and saw the sign with a ‘Hose Down the Crew’ option. I now had a time crunch on my hands. Get off work early enough to still be able to hose down the morning crew before shift change! Mission Accomplished
💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝 2yrs ago: The Mohawk in Springfield OR location is where my favorite caffeine people work! They help me start my day off on a positive note. Shania, Maddie, and the crew are super friendly and I love seeing them every morning before my hr drive to work.
I’m not a coffee drinker so the Paris black tea with a scoop and 1/4 peach syrup on ice is my daily go to beverage. I don’t care for super sweet tea so Shania helped me figure out exactly how much peach was enough peach and we settled on the extra 1/4 scoop!

They don’t care about the order you arrive in or if you place your order before other people you won’t be served first. you’ll be served in the order they decide. I watched them deliberately skipping the walk up customers who ordered hot drinks today. I called them on it and they told me they go in order and I said bullshit. I told them I’ve placed my order and I can see the runners taking orders at car windows. Now I’m watching cars come and go while I’m still sitting and waiting at the walk up window. Also 2 walk up customers with iced/cold beverages have been served before me even though I placed my order first, so no you aren’t going in order. Then he said some drinks are easier than others. Ok so you acknowledge you don’t serve people in order you look for the drink you wanna make and make that regardless of how far down the queue it is. Read moreI’m typically not one to leave bad reviews but night crew workers must’ve majored in yappology. I sat in line for 17 minutes with literally only 2 people in front of my car. The person directly in front of me didn’t even get coffee, they just talked to the staff forever. I understand I might not be interpreting the situation correct and maybe there was a good reason for how long it took other than the staff just talking to their friends, but if that’s the case, why can’t someone at least acknowledge the growing line? Be like “hey sorry I know you’ve been waiting awhile, we are trying to quickly finish up with this customer and then we will get right to you.” Or something.
