Rather disappointed, to begin with when you go to a sit down restaurant you expect to have a waiter/waitress who takes your order, checks on you, refill your drinks, etc. Not here, you will have no wait staff. Orders are made and paid for at the front of house using one register, why? On my visit there were 3-4 employees hanging out behind the cash register the entire time just talking or playing on their phones. They never went around to offer to refill drinks, never checked on the patrons, didn't take orders... just hung out behind the counter.
Going in just prior to the dinner rush it was slow with only 2 other groups in the building, upon leaving there was a line at the register of guests who were trying to place orders so they that could go get seats. Since the employees are doing nothing but hanging out behind the counter this means the guests aren't being seated, there's no one to sell them drinks, offer appetizers, your just paying employees to stand around and causing a bottle neck of guests trying to enter and pay for food at the same time. Incredibly poorly thought out and not what one would expect.
Food wise don't expect anything great, over priced bar food that you can get at any tavern for less. Sadly for a "Brew House" they only had a few beers available with no ciders, as a result I opted for soda, only to find the glasses next to the soda tower to be maybe 6 ounces each.
All in all not worth the trip and I wish I had...
Read moreI really liked it here, first time going with my toddler and my boyfriend. We sat ourselves and then the kind lady who worked the cashier came and offered us a booster or high chair. They are speedy and the food was really good, you also get a lot of bang for your buck :) The lady at the cashier also was so nice to our toddler and just an overall sweet lady :) would return for sure.
Edit: we’ve returned, i wish it were sooner but life has been crazy. I can confidently say that they have impressed us again. Brought my now three year old and i can say that the kids menu they offer is great for picky kiddos! The food comes out hot, but the kids food isn’t too hot for them to delve right in. The mac and cheese my daughter got is the best tasting mac and cheese i’ve had at a restraint in a very very long time. My strip n dip basket was crunchy, hot and fresh! My husbands burger was delicious and devoured within minutes of us getting our food. The restraint wasn’t packed but had some other patrons, and despite some tables before us having larger orders, we didn’t wait more than 5-8 minutes before our food was brought out to us. you walk up to order at the counter but I don’t mind that much at all, and their bottomless drinks are a good plus! Another bonus is that the restraint, and restrooms were very clean. Super friendly staff too. I will...
Read moreAs a former employee, I do not recommend going to or supporting this business. The owners are very unprofessional, say bad things about their employees to other employees, lie about what employees will get paid, take money from the cash tips to pay for credit card fees, drink on the job, handle issues very poorly, and do not evenly or fairly distribute tips. Do not support this business or the owners. Many food safety and drink safety procedures are not followed and food has been served completely raw, not a good place to eat or environment to work in. Edit: I did not steal anything from this company and false unprovabe accusations are illegal. I did not signed any paperwork saying I could not discuss my wages or other job practices and yet the owners made claims saying we were not aloud to discuss wages after they had told me on 3 different occasions my wage would be something higher than I received and I had asked for adjustments to be made to my check based on what I was told and what other, less experienced employees, were making. Oregon law does not say prohibit discussion of wages. They made comments about my appearance and my relationship with my recently passed away partner. These people need to be held accountable for the mistreatment of their employees and make appropriate...
