PINK — Local services in Springfield

Several months ago I went into VS, where I have shopped often. The alarm went off when I came in, an very nice employee came up and saw my handbag, which was high dollar, and said those bags commonly set off the alarm. I bought some merchandise and left, the alarm went off again. An employee chased me outside the store and we were standing in the mall in front of VS. I said the alarm had also went off when I came in, it was my handbag. She proceeded to VERY LOUDLY, in the mall, take EVERYTHING out of my bag while proceeding to tell me she had to do this. It was so embarrassing. She did not ask me to come back in the store or even to first look at the receipt and glance in the bag. Instead she had the underwear draped all over her arms while she kept saying she had to do this. People were walking by and staring. I will never, ever shop in that store again. According to the news VS is having financial problems, I hope the store shuts down. I used to shop there often, never again. It was embarrassing and handled so very poorly. When she was finished I did not get an apology or anything, the merchandise was not even re-wrapped. She stuffed it in the bag, said "you're fine" and walked back...

Don't get me wrong, I love this place for their absolutely friendly and helpful staff. For that alone I gave it as many stars as I did. But here is the thing, VS makes me a frustrated shopper every time I go in there. I will finally find a bra I like but then there are no matching underwear to go with that style. I changed my bra preference 4 times my last visit before I purchased simply because there were very few matching options. The staff helped me find this GORGEOUS bra option that of course was priced for $62.50. Normally there is no way I would pay that much, but it was worth it. Until I walked the store 4x over only to find out there are no matching options! They said they could order me a matching pair but there was only one in their entire stock, in store and online that matched that new, expensive style. Why in the world is that?? Seems like someone is dropping the ball.

I am not disappointed in the people that run this store. I am disappointed with the way corporate stocks it. If I had to rate the store in Springfield, their helpfulness, cleanliness, friendliness etc I would give...

Though nothing I bought fit and I spent over 250$ I would still like to say the associate was fantastic. It was like talking to my best friend, she helped me find everything I had asked for. She was patient, kind and funny (even though it was closing time.)

• on returns I had the WORST experience. I went to Joplin to do my return assuming they would either just put it back on my card or give me cash as I had the receipt! I go in the associate tells me they can't do cash back that I needed my card I said oh okay. She proceeds to ask me if I have any other card we could put the refund back on. I tell her no, she said okay, because we could have put it on another card. So I call a friend to see if she will come so I can put it on her card. (After 3 hours of waiting for her to get off work) we return to VS the same associate informs me I cant do the return on anything other than the original form of purchase. I was upset and left the store after speaking to a manager. (Where they gave me a 10 or 20 & off my next purchase - I gifted it to someone as I do not plan on purchasing...
