This is one of the worst targets i have ever been to. The store is always a mess and none of the actual checkout lines are ever open. Just one person working the self checkout acting like they're the cashier. I have found piles of human ( im assuming) feces on the floor in the store more than once, and when employees are informed nothing is done. Not even a wet floor sign over the area, that is a biohazard. The loss prevention team is terrible as on multiple occasions the cards I tried to buy were nothing but an empty box. For a while employees were stocking the SAME empty box of magic the gathering cards, then I would receive an attitude when informing staff product had been stolen. There is always expired meat on the fridge section and I have bought rancid meat that made me gag when I opened it. I shouldn't have to bring meat that expired DAYS ago to the employees attention. This is a sorry excuse for a retail store. The picture attached was taken on Wednesday May 29th at the Springfield mall location.

This place is not safe, ADA accessible nor customer service friendly. I tried to warn a GROUP of about 6 employees who were talking within 20’ of this elevator door of the faulty door. The most senior position looking/behaving man acknowleged me, and waved me on. I tried to tell him it is not working. As the elevator was wisking me away. He closed it, but walked away ignoring that it opened back up! I parked at the top of the store in the disabled parking space. When I returned to that area to check out, and leave, there was no employees in the area, not even for the disabled customers, I even called out, and no signs indicating to go down stairs to check out. I also noted that there were no signs on the door I came in. I would have parked elsewhere. As a disabled person, this caused me a great deal of stress and pain to keep going up and down the levels. The cashiers are not even near the elevators, they are FAR away from them downstairs!

I used to love coming to the store but it is going downhill quickly. They are clearly not keeping enough cashiers or employees on hand during shifts. My most recent trip took me over 20 minutes to check out upstairs, and there was not a single cashier open. They only had the self checkout lanes open ( and only 3 of the 4 kiosks) and there were about 20 to 30 people on line. It’s unacceptable to not have human cashiers checking people out and lines stretching to the elevators halfway across the store. If they don’t hire more people to check customers out I will have to stop coming here and wasting my time. I took a quick pic to show nothing but self checkout lanes were open on a Friday afternoon but didn’t feel comfortable taking pictures of the 20 to 30 people behind me waiting on line. The store needs a new manager and some better employee training.

I thought I was the only one who hated this target but judging by the reviews I'm not the only one. This target is the worst! First of all they cannot retain any employees and half of them barely speak English and are so rude so don't even bother asking them a simple question. Especially at the front desk. I occasionally go to get a price match or make a return and I am greeted with attitude, eye rolling and general unpleasantness. They try their best to not accommodate you at the front desk. They have the worst customer service. Secondly it doesn't matter if it's a Tuesday at 10 AM or Friday at 7 PM they never have registers open. You're lucky if you have 2 open downstairs and maybe 1 upstairs. Meanwhile there's 10 employees walking around aimlessly and they are constantly being called to registers but it doesn't matter the line has already reached the aisles. Hey here's an idea why don't you just have them STAY at the registers, while other people are assigned to stock the shelves. It doesn't make any sense. I have literally watched employees at a register walk away when they no longer have a customer, while another register three spots over has five people… How about you just call someone over to your register instead of disappearing to walk a lap around the store while the line backs up again. (Eye roll) I've heard this is a training facility for other target stores, and that makes me sad. Because this is literally the worst target in terms of customer service and managing employees around the store in different areas. I can't imagine having them train anyone. I drive out of my way to go to Burke or Merrfifield...

I used to think Target offers great customer experience in general, but this is not the case in the Springfield store. I was trying to use my baby registry 15% off coupon together with the 30% off coupon (for munchkin diaper items) but the lady at the second-floor check-out refused to apply both. I showed her that I was able to apply both via app and asked if she could do price match. She said she didn’t know and asked the manager at the checkout. The manager, without even further looking or hearing the explanations, just said, “we cannot stack up coupons.” She was rude and unprofessional. Therefore, the checkout lady told us to just go to the first-floor customer service to deal with it. She also mentioned we could place the order online (if the coupons work) and the customer service will see the order and let us grab and go. We followed her instructions and the customer service said the instructions we were given didn’t comply with the policy. After wasting our time a while, we were told to cancel the pickup order and let her rescan everything and manually changed the price (to match the coupon offers). The lady at the registry was okay, at least she was trying to help. I just got extremely frustrated by the incompetence of the manager at checkout as well as her attitude. Not only the manger should receive more trainings and correct her attitude, but also people who work at check-out should be sent back to training too. More importantly, stop giving people random instructions that do not comply with the policy in the...

Many issues with this target. Prices are never correct. Get to the register and all the prices are increased by .20 cents to 2 dollars. Had to have all my items corrected due to paying almost $30 extras then what the prices on the shelf showed. Not clean. A lot of times there will be liquid spilled on the floor and no urgency to clean it up. The workers that do online orders will run you down with their carts and not care. I had one flying out of an aisle and slam right into the side of me, give me a dirty look and kept on going without an apology. You always have to double check on produce because it will probably be expired. I use to buy my yoghurt smoothie drinks there as it was cheaper than other stores and I watched an employee put out expired ones. When I went to grab them I realized they had been expired for two weeks and let her know which she smirked at me like she already knew it and said she was going to take them off the shelf. They never have anybody working the registers and you usually have to use the self checkouts to check out which durning busy times you will be standing in line for a long time. Customer service is rude. Watched multiple times the workers getting rude with customers when the customers asked simple questions. Had one clerk get an attitude with me because my app wasn’t loading while trying to return an item. Half the time the escalator doesn’t work and then you have to use the elevator which is not ideal when many people are trying to pile in. I avoid this location as much...
