FOR YOUR OWN HEALTH AND SAFETY DO NOT GO TO THIS PHARMACY!
We had an unexpected family emergency and had to transfer my husbands prescription from Cincinnati. I called this CVS the Friday before, explained our situation and asked if we could forward his script there. No problems.
Come Monday, I call around noon to make sure the prescription was sent over successfully. They said they received it and it would be ready after lunch. So we drive 2 hours to get here just for them to tell us they won’t fill it because they didn’t even have enough for their regular patients. When I tried asking why they didn’t tell us this on Friday or when I called 2 hours ago, they said we didn’t call the pharmacy. When I SHOWED them that I called, they basically shrugged saying “I don’t know what to tell you”.
I asked to speak with the pharmacist (Katie) who wouldn’t look up from the table or even acknowledge me. Completely unprofessional and unapologetic.
We ended up having to sit in a parking lot across the street for 4 hours attempting to sort this out while my husband began withdrawing. Thank god Kroger’s helped us sort out this whole mess.
Absolutely terrifying that we nearly had to go to the hospital today because CVS does not care about their patients health enough to give us a simple call saying they didn’t have his...
Read moreFor the last several months, we have received text and voicemail saying we have prescriptions ready for pick up at the pharmacy. I've gone each time, stood in line for at least 15 mins or more and the drive thru window was closed only to find out there was no prescription ready or due to be filled. Not only that, but I've experienced calling the pharmacy, waiting on hold for over an hour only to be rudely told that my son's prescription couldn't be filled for a week because it was on backorder, and I waited another week to get it from them. I paid out of pocket to get it from another pharmacy in the meantime because my three year old son HAS to have it in order to keep him out of the hospital! So frustrating! If they would spend more time filling prescriptions that are called in and less time filling prescriptions on automatic refill, perhaps it would run smoothly and more efficiently. I feel bad for the staff who are doing their job and doing the best they can given their circumstances. I know it's not their fault that they are short staffed (like every other business struggling to keep their employees), but it'd sure be nice if management could help figure out a...
Read moreI’ve had multiple issues with CVS pharmacy and not having prescriptions filled in a timely manner timely manner being within a day. Had our child go to the emergency room at 6 am and waited until 5 o’clock to go pick up the prescription and the prescription still wasn’t ready. And was told that they were sorry they were four pages behind. Finally changed our pharmacy to Kroger’s. Kroger’s called three times to have our prescriptions changed over from CVS and Cvs didn’t give them the prescription, but they did put on his file that he no longer uses them and voided, the prescriptions and the refills.
Now we have to wait until Monday to call his doctor and for his doctor to provide new Scripps to Kroger pharmacy. CVS pharmacy is an absolute joke and if I could give zero stars, I...
