I am warning anyone if you wanna rest or just have a peaceful stay DO NOT STAY HERE!!. My husband and I came in on a Wednesday July 2,2025 and was booked until Sunday July6,2025, due to a death in the family, I booked through booking.com cause of coarse it was cheaper to do that, however I feel since I did that we was placed on a side where a very large group of young people must have been living in the hotel or staying for work, they would start loud music around 4pm and it continued through to 2:30am with karaoke, I called down to the office at 11:30pm cause by then we was ready for bed, and asked if they could please ask them to turn down their music the off ice man said yes, well however he never went over there and asked them cause it didn’t stop, the next morning I went down and talked the manager, which was a women and her reply to me was well sorry but they do work all week and I said I completely understand that we all do and we don’t have a issue for them to party until 11:30 but not until 2:30am, so today July 4, the partying started about 3:30pm and my husband and I decided we needed rest cause we have already been 2 nights without sleep so we decided to leave the hotel, when I went down to the lady manager and I told her and I asked for my money for the 2 more nights that I already paid for her reply was sorry but when you book through booking. com you can’t get your money back cause you sign in 3 spots saying you don’t get your money back, I said to her yes I did sign but that was saying I wouldn’t cancel my room however I didn’t cancel we left because you chose not to keep the partying down so we could sleep!!!,,,also if you book there a web site that hotel doesn’t make the money off of you, so I believe that is why they put us on that side of the hotel cause they didn’t make any money from us!!!..like they just through us to the wolfes!!!..and just gave us the most outdated and cobweb room they...
Read moreI called to see if this hotel had any rooms left during JITH (Jamboree In The Hills) on the night of July 19th, 2014. The first THREE times that I had called, there was no answer.. it just kept ringing and ringing. Finally, the 4th time that I called, a man answered VERY RUDELY, not even introducing himself or the company to start off with.. & as the conversation proceded, he continued with the rude tone in his voice & I could tell that he just did not want to be bothered. I asked him if he had any vacancies, he said yes. I asked him the rate of the room, which was higher than the other hotel I had spoke to, so I told him that. I said, very politely (even though I shouldve been rude back to him since he was speaking to me as if I were a piece of dirt), that the rate seems a bit high & that I had called another hotel who had rooms with lower rates.. His response? GOOD FOR YOU, GO STAY THERE THEN & I was hung up on. I will NEVER EVER stay at this hotel solely because of how he treated me over the PHONE.. I cant even imagine how bad the customer service is in PERSON if he treats guests that way through the phone!! It was absolutely uncalled for, the way he spoke to me, & in my opinion he should not be working at a hotel if he cant act like an adult & be courteous & polite to guests. I understand that this hotel has had major renovations lately, how about you do some MAJOR changes to your staff as well? You might recieve more business than just the local pipeliners.. THIS HOTEL IS RATED AN F FROM ME. NEVER IN MY LIFE WILL I GIVE MY BUSINESS...
Read moreGave this place a try after having stayed at a couple motels over in Triadelphia that cost at least twice as much. I'm not real picky when it comes to a place to stay, all I need is a clean bed and some coffee in the morning. I checked in later in the night, front desk attendant was friendly and more than accommodating. My only issue there, was that we booked 1 accessible room with double beds and 1 regular room with a king. The bed situation got reversed. Double checked my booking confirmation to verify I got it right and did. No big deal, the king was plenty big for the both of them. We were all happy with how comfortable the beds were also. Rooms overall were clean and recently updated. There were a few things we noticed, but I can nitpick the most expensive hotels and find things that may have been overlooked. One thing to be aware of is the handicap accessible rooms are in the 200 room number range, which is the 2nd building or another building that's an offshoot of the first building in the 100 range. The 2nd building happens to be furthest away from the lobby. This isn't an issue unless you've got someone who can't walk well or is in a wheelchair. Their is a limited breakfast in a well kept, clean lobby with waffle maker, cereal, toaster pastries, donuts and coffee. We come to the area every few months to visit family in Triadelphia/Wheeling. It's worth the drive to save a few bucks and will probably be my go to place to stay. Can't wait to ride the bike down in the summer and ride the area, plus...
