DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS STORE!
Where do I begin? I swear to God Himself this is a 100% true story.
I returned an Xbox one, multiple games and a controller. Total was $293. They could not pay me out of the till so I settled for a corporate check.
The clerk told me I should receive it in about 5-7 business days.
After a couple weeks I decided to call in and inquire about it. They couldn't answer a single questions. Literally clueless.
I called the customer service. On more than one occasion, they referred back to the store. The store just let saying it was in the mail. Which was terrible advice. Don't bother emailing customer service either, COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME.
After four weeks went by, I became a little more frustrated that nobody could tell me where my check was. Finally a customer service rep told me that it takes 25 business days (not 5-7 like the clerk said) and that it would arrive that very same day in the mail.
Two more weeks went by -- still no check. I called into customer service AGAIN. A woman told me she would call me back later in the day with information about my check.
She told me that Cash Management "missed" the request. She LITERALLY told me on the phone that if I wouldn't have kept calling/inquiring, MY CHECK WOULD'VE NEVER ARRIVED IN THE MAIL.
EVERY SINGLE CUSTOMER SERVICE REP AND STORE REP HAD LIED THROUGH THEIR TEETH TO ME.
Now I get to wait 4-6 weeks for the request to process.
Moral of the story: DONT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY AT GAMESTOP! SPEND IT SOMEPLACE THAT CARES ABOUT...
Read moreIf I could give this place 0 stars I would. I went in bought a brand new ps5 a year ago. Asked for a 2 year warranty on that and the extra controller I bought. The person who rung me up didn't put the warranty on there, didn't even put me in their computer system.. my ps5 suddenly stopped working wouldn't power on or nothing. Brought it in to exchange they wouldn't cause they couldn't find me in their system. Contacted customer support they found my purchase told me they would resolved this in 3 to 5 business days. Contacted them again when they didn't contact me within the 3 to 5 days they told me they would push it to the higher ups to get this resolved. After contacting customer service 7 times they finally emailed me saying bring the ps5 in and have the manager contact support line to get the exchange taken care of. Went in showed the email to the manager, he takes one glance at the email and tells me he can't do anything for me because I didn't purchase the warranty and even if I did purchased it their warranty doesn't cover it. 7 long phone calls, 3 trips to the store, a month later, and they finally tell me that its not their problem is sonys problem..I will never shop here again they are absolutely...
Read moreI used to be happy with GameStop couple years back and such because they always provided me with good service. Now, not so much. When I first went there, looking for something, one of the employees was basically hitting on me right as I walked into the door. Making me feel slightly uncomfortable. So, I asked them where the item I was looking for was since I went online and checked to see if it was in stock, which it said it was. They looked and said that it wasn't. They told me they would restock in a couple of days. Okay fine, whatever. Waited a couple days and came back and they literally told me, "Oh we only ordered one and someone just bought it." REALLY?! An actual store stocks up and like maybe 5 or 10 but 1?! I was furious and just walked out since I didn't want to deal with them anymore. So don't waste your time with them. They're not like they were back then when they were actually good. They were the biggest let down and now I say just go to a different store that isn't a GameStop or just order online for the item you want. They'll just...
