
Overall the purchase of my new 2018 Chevy Trax has been a great experience with a few bumps in the road, but overall, still a great experience. I had been down to look at the 2018 Chevy Trax previously and was ready to strike a deal. As soon as I pulled up to the front, I was greeted by Ben Kasten who immediately took me inside and answered all my questions and gave me a few options. Shortly afterwards, Ben let me test drive the one that I thought I would like, which I really did. Again, he answered all my questions and was actually pretty easy to talk to. Full disclosure, not a huge fan of car buying. After we got back to the dealership, Ben took some additional information, and actually found be a model with more options that was actually not that much more in price and got me started with the financing. Up to this point, everything was actually quite easy and it really didn't feel like car buying. I was than introduced to Cory Anderson, who proceeded to talk about the financing and some of my options. After hearing what I was hoping for, he went and ran the numbers. After about 20 minutes or so, he came back with the news. The payment I was looking for came back a little higher but after hearing my concerns and thoughts, Cory went back to see what he could do. He came back after about 10-15 minutes and actually surprised me that he was able to get me into the 2018 Trax for about what I was looking for as monthly payments go. At that point paperwork went fairly quickly and I scheduled to come back the next day to pick it up. The next day, shortly after I arrived, Ben took me out and walked me though my new vehicle and helped get OnStar set up. He answered all my questions and I was on my way. Now there was an issue but I still stand behind giving them a 5 star review is that at some point during the paperwork process, communication was crossed and we ended up doing paperwork on a vehicle that I did not purchase. It was actually similar to the one I bought but was not the one I decided to go with in the end. As soon as I found the error, I called the dealership and was placed in contact with A.J. Thoms. I explained what I had found and he asked if I could come in right away. Keep in mind, it was after 7:30pm at this point but only being about 15 minutes away, I had no problem coming in to get this straightened out. It appears he must have done some investigating before I arrived because he was at the door waiting for me to get the issue fixed. We were able to get the paperwork corrected and straighten out my OnStar in under an hour and I was back out the door. The part that impressed me is throughout the entire process was how everyone took to the time to hear me out and answer all my questions. It actually still ended up being one of the easiest car buying experiences I have ever had....
Read moreI never leave reviews but my experience with Gilleland was more than I could have ever expected! I had boughten a vehicle from another dealership. The day after buying it they call me to tell me THEY needed to fix an oil leak. The following week I got my vehicle back. They wouldn't give me any paperwork or even information on what had been done to the vehicle. A few days later I noticed a leak. I called them to inform them and they told me that IF its the same issue THEY fixed that they will fix it again. They then proceeded to talk to me like I was stupid telling me that now that its hot outside when you use the A/C it may produce a little water in result may leave a spot under my car. That was highly upsetting. They got me in the following week. They told me it was the same issue and had me pick my vehicle up because they don't do the fixes on Chevy's. They told me I needed to take it to Gilleland the following week. My husband had dropped my vehicle off and I was in contact a short while later with an AMAZING man named Gordy. Gordy informed me that I had a bad coolant leak. I informed him that the other dealership had agreed to pay for it. He got in contact with them and they said because it wasn't the same issue that they would not he paying for it. This is where things got really messy! Gordy informed me of what they had said. I told him that I had boughten the vehicle with these issues and they needed to fix it. He fully agreed and 1000% went to bat for me. I had tried to contact the other dealership many times and no one would call me back. Gordy spent a lot of time as well reaching out to this dealership and was finally able to get them to agree to fix it but it wasn't easy for him. That man went more than above and beyond to help me out when it honest to God wasn't his problem! They didn't sell me that car. He had zero obligation to help me. He could have just said "I'm sorry you got screwed over. But this isn't our issue. You need to get this fixed." I can't thank him and his team enough for that. After that, I again tried to reach out to the other dealership to see if I could ar least get a rental. It was expected to be a week until I could get my vehicle back. Again, I had no luck getting through to anyone. Gordy called and asked how quick I could get there cause he could get me a rental (fully expecting to pay an arm and a leg for it but i didn't) I told him I could be in before 5. Once I got there Gordy not only had a rental for me but also the previous paperwork of the work that the other dealership had gotten done on it. Im so sorry for the long review. But I am so beyond grateful for everything he did for me. Because of him you guys got yourself a loyal customer. Give that man a raise!!! He deserves it. 10 out of 10...
Read moreI feel I received excellent service in the purchase of my new 2019 Chevrolet Impala. Garrett my sales consultant was attentive to my wishes and he was also non-pressure. He kept me informed at each step of the process and was always very cheerful and friendly. I also appreciated your finance department handling the trade of my exisiting 2015 Impala and finding me financing that worked for me. I was so excited to take delivery of the car, and it is a huge pleasure to drive! Please also give Christian another sales consultant my compliments as well as he helped me out when I picked up the car. I do believe that Gilleland has my best interests at heart, and I actually hope to be a member of the sales team! The entire dealership seems to be humming with great energy and mutual respect for each other! Great job!
UPDATED on March 15th, 2025! I just traded in my 2019 Impala Premier for a brand new 2025Chevrolet Blazer Electric Vehicle and I couldn't be happier with the fantastic service I received from Tyler Donnay, my sales consultant and the Gilleland Sales Team! I special ordered the Blazer through Tyler and he was extremely accommodating throughout the entire process as well as very knowledgeable and detail oriented. He allowed me many test drives of an existing Blazer before I ever ordered one and was extremely patient and kind when working with me. Tyler had many great suggestions for options on the vehicle and he even suggested that the detail department wrap a big bow around it and have it in the service bay to be "presented" to my amazing 91 year old Mother when we pick it up! A fantastic and caring sales person who has your best interests at heart. I highly recommend you see Tyler Donnay at Gilleland for ANY Vehicle purchase! He is extremely trustworthy and not at all pushy.
Another fantastic and caring service to me that Tyler and Gilleland provided was that they provided me with a free loaner vehicle to use while they prepared my new Blazer to be delivered to me. This was not just ANY loaner either! Tyler made sure that I received a beautiful White 2025 Blazer Electric Vehicle to use so I could get used to using my new Blazer! It was the perfect loaner and it shows just how much Tyler cares about his clients happiness!
Further, I appreciate the extremely careful attention paid to my sales purchase by both the financing team all throughout the sales process as well as the detail department in making the Blazer a work of art upon presentation to me! I will add photos soon!
