If you never had Ethiopian food before and you want to try something amazing, order the TIBS/TEBS (same thing)! It is a little spicy, if you tell them you don’t want it too hot I’m sure they would make it with less jalapeño!
And they also have a tip jar, but it’s not really a tip jar, this is a bit of inside information as they don’t publicly share this, but I’m gonna tell you anyways… they use the tip money to support orphans back in Ethiopia! So please give if you can!
The sweet lady who you will see working hard started at another location and they’ve been working 14 hours days 7 days a week for the last 9+ years in a tiny location inside a convenience store to get to the point that they could finally open this beautiful spot in a more traditional restaurant setting!

All of the people working here are incredibly kind and helpful. It was such a lovely experience that my family and I will be regulars here. Everyone is so kind and the...

I recently visited Malkaa Ethiopian Restaurant, and I’m so glad I did. The food was absolutely delicious — full of authentic flavor and cooked to perfection. The injera was fresh and soft, and the dishes like doro wat and tibs were packed with spices that tasted just like home.
The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service made me feel like family. It’s rare to find a place that delivers both great food and a great experience — but Malkaa does both.
If you're in Saint Cloud and want to try something flavorful, unique, and made with heart, I highly recommend Malkaa. I’ll definitely be...
