I am updating my current review to add some more pictures of how stunning these rooms are. I recently moved into a two bedroom here and i have to say views are amazing. I would again recommend this place to anyone! recently moved here from Chicago for work and during my selection process back in April, I only had time for one weekend of apartment hunting. I would say I looked at probably 15 places overall and nothing really compared to Citizen Park. From the beautiful gym, to the pool and patio area, the complimentary Starbucks every day, there is really nothing more you could want here. I currently live in a one bedroom here and absolutely love it. The closets are huge and so are the kitchens with upgraded appliances. The building itself is brand new and is located in the heart of central west end. I literally don't have to drive anywhere except to work in Illinois or to get gas. I've walked around this area for a few weeks now and there's just something different about this building that stands out from the rest. The staff is amazing here as well, I've bombarded them with so many questions and they have been so helpful throughout the process which helps me out immensely. If you're looking to rent in the central west end there is no other place I would choose than Citizen Park.

I recently moved here with my partner from Chicago -- WOW! This place is it. If you are looking to live ANYWHERE in St. Louis, especially the Central West End, this is it. Citizen Park offers luxury living with everything you need right outside your door. We rarely use our cars, except for work and going somewhere that isn't walking distance if we aren't ubering. From restaurants and bars, to Forest Park and Whole Foods... no complaints! This apartment building has a complimentary Starbucks machine, 24 hour concierge, a workout room with a yoga studio, and a beautiful 3rd floor pool and terrace. The amenities are amazing. Not to mention, there is an OrangeTheory on the 1st floor and coming soon, Yellowbelly. Citizen Park is extremely dog friendly, which is a huge plus for us and our pups! They even have dog treats out and a Dog of the Month on their Instagram. The staff here is extremely kind and helpful to us. They are always on point with everything. (they love to throw mini parties and tenant gatherings, too). Overall, I give my home an A+ rating and highly recommend the 2 bedroom, 2.5 bath end unit, but we're bias. See for yourself!

The best apartment complex in St Louis? I think so! We moved in a couple months ago, and have had a great experience so far. The management team has been delightful, putting on events (whiskey tastings, pool parties, dog appreciation and more!), while everyone from the security to maintenance has been helpful (they mounted my TV mount). The unit itself has clean lines and modern fixtures. Our 1 bedroom has in unit washer/dryer, high efficiency dishwasher and generous bathroom space. I think most units have an outdoor space (balcony) as well. Not to mention the pool, fully equipped gym, lounge area with pool table, and a high end coffee machine near the building entrance. Overall, I am so happy we chose this building!

Summary: Great location for St. Louis. Central West End gives a bit of a city feel with a somewhat vibrant restaurant and night life.

Value for price: When factoring location, I think the value is fair compared to other newer complexes. St. Louis used to have cheaper housing but these new apartments are changing the landscape so $1900 for 750sqft isn't far off. You also get great walkability to a decent number of restaurants in the fastest growing part of St. Louis.

Presentation: Initial unit presentation was decent. I felt it was a bit less clean than the price would suggest (there was some strange dried fluid on the door for example) but generally not the worst I've seen.

Lifestyle: The amenities are convenient and the people are awesome. Everyone seems generally more pleasant to be around. I've lived in apartments in St Louis where people barely acknowledge you. CP residents are way friendlier. There are also regular events which are fairly enjoyable. They aren't extravagant but generally it can be something like a get together with free drinks and light food. I highly recommend going to these because you'll meet a lot of interesting people.

Amenities: Although there is a pool, keep in mind that it is very small. Not worth it to try to swim. Residents used this as a place to cool off while sunbathing. The gym is decent in size for an apartment complex and not typically too packed which is nice. There is a free coffee machine accessible 24/7 if you need quick easy and convenient coffee. You can also get free green or black tea. The community area is also fairly nice. I've played pool here a number of times with fellow residents.

Management and other staff: Simply stellar. This is where CP shines. They are helpful, courteous, and generally pleasant to work with. You will actually feel like you're in a luxury apartment when dealing with them. Especially Nick on the management side and Barbara on the security side. I genuinely considered Barbara a friend. I always chatted with her when I'd walk back in.

Other notes: The building design overall is jarring for people from bigger cities. You Chicago, NY, and LA people may be confused by a building where you can stare directly into your neighbors window from like 20m. Obviously you can see other people's units in Chicago, but not from so close. This isn't to dissuade you, but a lot of the units have terrible views. I still enjoyed my time here but you need to be forking out closer to $2300+ for a 1bdrm to get a more reasonable view.

Additionally, the area is OK but not great. CWE is growing but you're sort of trapped between some higher crime areas. You can walk fairly far north until you hit Delmar (don't go any further as it's unsafe). Generally CWE is fairly safe. I'd be cautious late at night but generally it isn't terribly unsafe. CWE is probably comparable to most US cities. Never heard of shootings though we did have some car break-ins at one point. The only negative is that it does feel claustrophobic compared to major cities like Chicago. You can't really walk endlessly and have the same upscale experience for several blocks like you have in River North.

Conclusion: If you're moving to St. Louis, definitely consider CP. Compare this to 100 Above the Park, The Euclid, and Orion if you're looking for consistent, vibrant, but not overly-eccentric living. Otherwise you can look at Chelsea and Hudson though be cautious because the leasing company that oversees those buildings is a bit...

Citizen Park is truly a one-of-a-kind apartment building in St. Louis with thoughtful and awesome staff members. My boyfriend and I have been looking for a home to buy in CWE and it’s been very stressful. So we decided to enjoy the home buying process by finding a place to live in CWE temporarily!

We started searching for apartments to lease and reached out to several places including Citizen Park. No one else responded other than 1 complex, but Nick and Nina from Citizen Park have gone the extra mile to provide us with all the information we requested, answered any questions we had, and made sure we were taken care of. We scheduled a tour with Nina this past weekend with hopes of getting a short term lease for this summer. Little did we know how much we’d love everything that Citizen Park has to offer and how incredible their staff is!

Nina has helped us from the moment we reached out and has gone the extra mile to make us feel welcomed. During our tour, she did an exceptional job at showing us the amenities, telling us about the fun events they host sometimes, and making us feel right at home and like we belong. She was very professional, thoughtful, encouraging, and kind. She didn’t rush us or pressure us to make a decision, and it felt like she truly cared about helping us find the perfect temporary home for us. And she did! 🤩

By the end of our tour, we realized how perfect Citizen Park is for us: the location, the amenities, the thoughtful staff, incredible apartments, everything. That’s why our decision to apply to be a Citizen resident this weekend felt right and easy to make. During the application process, Nina was there to answer any and every question I had to make this process even easier for us, and it was greatly appreciated. Thanks to Nina, this process has been enjoyable and we’re so excited to call Citizen Park our...

Living at Citizen Park Apartments was an absolute delight! From the moment I stepped into this vibrant community, I knew I was home.

The apartments themselves are beautifully designed, with modern finishes and thoughtful layouts that maximize both space and comfort. Whether you're looking for a cozy one-bedroom or a spacious two-bedroom, there's something here to suit every lifestyle.

But it's not just the apartments that make Citizen Park stand out – it's the community itself. The amenities are top-notch, from the sparkling pool and sundeck, perfect for relaxing on sunny days, to the state-of-the-art fitness center, ideal for staying active without ever leaving home.

One of my favorite things about living here is the sense of community. The staff is incredibly friendly and always goes above and beyond to make residents feel welcome and valued. There are regular social events and gatherings, providing ample opportunities to connect with neighbors and make new friends. I made friends for a lifetime at Citizen Park and still Facetime them as and when I get a chance.

Situated in the heart of CWE, Citizen Park is just steps away from the best dining.

Overall, I couldn't be happier with my decision to call Citizen Park home. It's more than just an apartment – it's a lifestyle. If you're looking for the perfect blend of style, convenience, and community, look no further than Citizen Park Apartments. Special thanks to Nick, Lauren and Quiz for going above and beyond to help...
