I have been in love with tcg’s and especially MTG most of my life. I’m fairly new to the city and have a wonderful new career and overall love my time here. For the past month I’ve attempted to play at their weekly commander night and have missed the chance. Either the tables are full or I didn’t get off of work early enough, which are both completely acceptable reasons and no blame or anger for that in any way should be held towards wizards wagon. I finally am able to attend an event one night, get there twenty five minutes early and find a group to play with. Only to be told since I didn’t “call ahead of time” I am being kicked out. If we go through this logically knowing I would want to play every week, but also knowing I wouldn’t be able to make it every time, and not knowing in advance if I could make it or not I would have to reserve a spot, not allowing someone else to play, every time and only be able to join on the occasions that work will allow me to. Read moreSold my mom a fake single of an expensive RL magic card. Had it authenticated at another store when taking it for trades, completely fake proxy. Store did not offer refund. I don’t believe they intentionally knew it was fake, but serious miss on selling rare singles for hundreds and not doing any basic checks - other ppl have been able to spot it immediately. BUYER BEWARE if you are buying singles here, they either do not check what they sell or don’t know how and have no business selling MTG singles. We thought it would be safer than buying online and got...
