The person we worked with LIED about what he did with my laptop. I came in with an issue with my battery, he said he can fix it. At the end, he fixed it, I didn’t need to have it on the battery all the time, wow! He said “you were on turbo mode which was draining your battery, I switched it to default you should be good to go”. NO HE DID NOT. HE TURNED OFF MY GRAPHICS CARD. HE DID NOTHING WITH A “TURBO” OR “DEFAULT” MODE. Did he think we were stupid and wouldn’t notice that my computer was running a thousand times slower that had nothing to do with a “mode” on my battery? Read moreI went in for help with a data transfer from an old phone. It was troublesome because the old phone's screen was mostly black and half of it was not responding to touch inputs but the rest of the phone was working fine. I was helped by two different people, Leo and Spencer. They went above and beyond to try and find a way to transfer my data, trying multiple different things. The normal way of using a monitor and mouse to control the phone remotely wasn't working due to the phone model not being compatible it turns out. It ended up working out in the end just by using the base cable and enough of the prompts needed to click were on the part of the screen that was working, but I truly appreciate all the help they gave before that point. This Best Buy will not let him return it or exchange it for a different one. Every single one of the Geek Squad member were jerks to the customers including my dad and brother.
