The first time I had Pluckers, I absolutely loved it, so I was ecstatic when one opened up in our area, and we went several times. However after the onset of lockdown in Texas, the two times we ordered to-go the chicken was... off... as in the chicken seemed to have gone bad before it was cooked. The first time we just went to Whataburger, the second time, we called and they were very apologetic and remade our order for us to pickup. The bad chicken twice over however made us question going back, and we took a break from Pluckers, and my roommates now both constantly want Raising Cane's when chicken is brought up. We got takeout here on Friday for the first time in almost two years, and the chicken was GREAT and there was quite a lot of it, I have REALLY missed the Dr. Pepper wings, however for $25, we were all a little... disappointed in how few fries there were (Between a small and a medium fries from Chick-fil-a). I had also ordered extra Dr. Pepper sauce for my wings, unfortunately, the person who packed our to-go bags, put all of the sauces on the bottom of the bag, and my extra Dr. Pepper sauce was nothing more than a massive mess in the small paper bag it came in. Again, the food itself was great, but for me spending an extra nearly $3 on fries for those awesome sweet potato fries... I would have expected to have gotten at least twice as many fries. When it came to the sauce, I was really upset that I didn't get to have my extra Dr. Pepper sauce, even though it was only .25¢. I hope I can convince my roommates to eat here again, but I also hope that whoever is packing the to-go orders, well, learns to pack anything, I also hope next time to get more fries than what we got, getting less sweet potato fries than my roommates got regular was very disappointing.

We showed up around 6:30 PM with a party of 15—half adults, half kids. The parking lot was nearly full, but we managed to find a spot. The place was packed, and the hostess quoted us a 30-minute wait, which thankfully ended up being closer to 20. We were seated in a separate room with large roll-up garage-style windows. This time of year, it’s hot outside, so the AC was blasting. Honestly, it was freezing—I wished I’d brought a jacket. Thankfully, the waitress turned off the fans after realizing we weren’t the only ones shivering. She was attentive from the start, taking drink orders for all 15 of us without missing a beat. It took a few minutes, but everything came out fine. Most of us stuck with water, but we also ordered the “Pregame” appetizers: fried pickles ($5), holy macaroni (fried mac & cheese), and fried cheese (mozzarella sticks), both $10. All were worth trying, but the fried cheese stole the show—crispy, gooey, and absolutely delicious. For the main course, we ordered about 60 wings along with some kids’ meals and other entrées. I’m here to talk wings. Our five sauces were: • No Sauce – Someone in our group wanted this. Personally, I think it was a waste of money. Dead last. • Medium – Standard buffalo with a touch of heat. Solid, but nothing special. #4. • Gochujang – Korean-style, hard to describe, but better than Medium. #3. • Bakers Gold – A sweet and spicy buffalo blend. Really good. #2. • Spicy Lemon Pepper – The winner. A mix of Medium sauce with lemon pepper seasoning—bright, zesty, spicy, and hands-down my favorite. Overall, the staff handled our big group like pros. We were served quickly, everyone left full and happy, and the wings alone are worth coming back for. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in the area

Pluckers is highly rated for good reason. Voted one of the best sports bars and famous for its wings, Pluckers is a fun sports bar and all around a great place to catch the games or just nosh on wings and more. We visited the Stafford, TX location for the first time and loved it. Offering a wide selection of wings and burgers along with options for salads, kids meals and tons of sides. Much is standard but awesome bar food though they offer some light options and a limited GF (almost) menu selection with the standard caveat due to the mixed service kitchen. For GF options that have a menu with the mentioned caveat though staff is very knowledgeable. Hint- naked wings and or a salad less croutons as they have shared fryers. Ask for the GF menu and they will guide you. I had the Blue Cheese and Chicken Salad and Naked Chicken basket with a selection of sauces - it was awesome. So join the Pluckers Club- one of the best loyalty programs around- $20 one time and you get lifetime membership with a free appetizer that day plus deals on birthdays and anniversary events plus points for almost every penny spent. Overall it’s a fun place - lively atmosphere- friendly staff- decent prices - full bar- local history and origins- tons of TVs to watch just about anything. Handicap accessible parking and building. Changing tables in mens and women restrooms. Outdoor patio seating available. COVID compliant. Definitely on out local go-to list.

I disappointed in the whole experience I had in visiting this pluckers locations for the first time. I'm a frequent visitor of the location at Shepherd, too which is a good experience and memories for the most part. So myself and some close friend decided to come to this location to do the fire in the hole challenge. We were properly greeted at the door and seated right away. It all goes down hill from here. Our waitress Angelina didn't come to our table for about a good 15-20 minutes and the place was not busy or packed from what I could see. She finally comes and takes our drink order, so we place our order. My sister orders the Stemmari Rose bottle, which she forgot about twice before coming back to the table and telling they don't have that brand, and only carry one brand of Rose, to which my sister agrees too. She takes order food order, and I explained that myself and my buddy would be doing the fire in the hole challenge. We asked her if we could bring out the first ten wings and then the next set of wings separately so the wings wouldn't get cold, to which she explained she had to ask her manager. The answer was initially no (explaining they would have to charge us separately for each time the wings were brought to us)and then she comes back and informed us the manager would allow us to do this way without extra charge. When she finally brought my sister wine to her, it was the exact one she had told us they didn't have. So we eat, drink, and decide to have a shot. Angelina explained to us that we would have to finish a drinks we had, before we would be allowed to order shot. Something I do regularly at the other pluckers location, so I knew this couldn't be true. After take my picture for completing the challenge, we asked for the bill. The bill we felt like was incorrect, because they charge for the wings separately, to which she explained the manager had agreed not to do so. Also was charged for extra items. We were visible upset by this point in our whole dining experience at the restaurant.(the lack luster service, incorrect bill, and manager intervention) My friend handed the waitress her form of payment, and so I did as well. The the lady after all this, had the nerve to snatch the bill and my debit card from me. I was so shock, I literally thought we were being pranked. My sister after seeing what happened, when she returned to the table gave her some choice words. I most definitely will not be returning to this location and the experience makes me even not want to spend money with this...

I came at 9pm after superbowl was over. Not crowded at all. My server was great Uza (spelling?) attentive and super friendly and knowledgeable about her menu. They sent out our wings, they were temp hot but obviously OLD! They were hard as a rock and I couldn't get my teeth through the wing without great effort! My waitress was very gracious gave us no trouble returning them and making fresh. The second set was as they should have been.... fresh, hot and delicious. Great flavors to choose from I had spicy lemon pepper and spicy ranch. Now, for the REAL PROBLEM with this Pluckers!!!! The bill comes and our total is $68. (I'm rounding for the sake of making my point) My friend who treated me offered to pay. He put for a 20% tip. The bill comes and our total is now $88. I tried explaining to the manager Irene that 20% of $68 wasn't 20.00. I couldn't make her understand my point. And she couldnt convince me that the bill was correct and "the machine is programned to calculate tips, we don't calculate them." But the machine is wrong! What are we doing about it?How many poeople are being ripped off? $5 here and $5 there?? If I'm wrong and not understanding I asked her to explain HOW we got to $20. She couldnt or wouldn't explain. So now we are all frustrated going back and forth. She thinks we are upset over the tip amount and keeps telling us "I can lower the tip but YOU picked 20% now the machine calculates it..it's not our staff." I tried showing her on my calculator that 20% of $70 is $14 not $20. Lost cause..she wasn't hearing anything I said. And definitely wasn't trying to please or console us. Then when I disected the bill I noticed they didn't give a full refund on the horrible wings received. My wings combo was $21.95 they only refunded $18.95 (the price of the wings in the combo as told by Irene) YET they charged ANOTHER 21.95 For the new order of wings. So basically I'm paying MORE for replacing the old hard wings I received. So when my friend and I sat down and further picked the receipt apart.....we estimated about $17 extra on our bill that should not have been charged. $88 for 2 -10piece wing combo, order of fried pickles($8)and 2 Michelobe Ultras ($11). Not cool Pluckers! Is this even LEGAL? If not illegal.....
