Excellent used nerf gun selection that can't be beat! Prices for the nerf guns are great. That's what gets them up to 4 stars. They have a lot of space, but not a lot of stuff. Good location. Good parking. Good for people who like collectibles, but if you're just looking to bring some new preschool toys into your house there isn't much selection.

Staff/management: also 3 stars. They respond promptly on Facebook and polite in-person which is great, but there are rules posted everywhere. A lot of them in all caps with exclamation points. The store isn't kid friendly. Their target audience seems to be more collectors than kids. Why not put a play area in all that space and host a weekly morning playgroup? Then you'd get all the old preschool toys as those kids grew up. Plus, then there would be a place for kids to be while parents browsed the rules areas.

Conclusion: worth going to if you get a chance away from your kids, especially if you have boys because that nerf gun selection is killer. Also, should stop by if your kid has a special interest. They may have figurines or collectibles right...

Conveniently located by the Wharf close to downtown Staunton with lots of parking right in front of it. This is the place where you will find that nostalgic gift for your mom and dad, or even grandparents that you can't get anywhere else in the area. The huge toy assortment let's you walk down memory lane and think about all the lovely memories that are attached to them. Neatly categorized and displayed it is a pleasure to go through the store. I love The Box! My brother lives in Waynesboro and he introduced me to here. Now, we have to go everytime we're in town. Prices are amazing and I've found so much there that I haven't seen else where. Also the staff is super amazing. One time my dad left in wallet hrs away and they held his purchase and stayed open until my wife and I were able to get to his house and get his wallet up to him. I can't say enough great things...
