My 14-year-old Yorkie mix "puppy" is having mobility issues so we took her to the Vet, who discovered she has Lyme Disease that is affecting her kidney function. He advised a change in diet & a round of meds. We grabbed some food at the Vet for convenience & I immediately contacted Heather about what food she would recommend for kidney issues. Heather asked a few questions about my pup's palate and immediately gave some recommendations. Even though I reached out on a day they were closed, and because she was in her (adorable) shop waiting on a delivery, she bagged up some items & left them for me to pick up. High quality, healthy, and natural options to spoil my cat who also happens to be a princess. 😽👑 The staff are very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. We often win the “pet lottery” and walk out with plentiful free treats for our fur daughter. They allow me to order particular flavors of the brand I want. I believe most of it is made in USA. I used to shop at Petco but felt like I was supporting sub par food from china that makes profits for a big corporation. Shopping local is always superior! I am so grateful we found well balanced paw, the team there is so friendly and knowledgeable. Grayson always treats us so well and knows my fiancé by name. It feels so good knowing we have a local shop nearby who wants best for our dogs just as much as we do. Please do yourself a favor and stop by, whether it's for the best treats, food or supplies.
