I am a senior with diagnoses which include MS, and post-CVA (stroke), and am not often aware of what can occur anytime I am vertical, but these "barefoot sneakers," allow me to feel the ground beneath me. They truly are the most comfortable shoes I own, and bought them post-op foot surgery. My toes will be forever free to roam inside a perfectly wider space for them. I was of the high heel and stiletto years, but that stopped when the stroke initially took my balance. My toes look like they were jammed into pointed toes shoes, but would not be the case had this innovative footwear been available decades ago. I was born barefoot, have always barefoot at home, and am ordering another pair to wear outside. If you know your accurate sizing, this footwear is right on. This is the happiest I've been with an order and shipment /with from Hike Footwear.
Please note that to write this review I had to pick a location near me to post. I ordered mine online, from the manufacturer, but any retailer who sells the barefoot shoes is worth a trip to...
Read moreYou've lost more than one customer after the shady garbage attempted with my relative. He ordered shoes that you didn't have in stock. After a month of no shoes, a return was decided upon. The catch? You tried to keep $10 because of the courtesy coupon you give away with purchases.
What?
I'll say that again: What?
Fortunately, he pressed the matter and got his full refund, but... wow. "Thank for attempting to do business with us! Unfortunately we can't fulfill your request, you have no product, and we're going to steal some of your money to cover for our courtesy coupon! Have a nice day!"
By your mental gymnastics way of thinking, I should be able to bring my coupon in for $10 cash, yes? If not, why not? If ANYTHING, you should have offered a further discount in addition to that $10 courtesy coupon for such a dissatisfying customer experience.
I truly prefer to give money to local businesses any time I can, but from now on I'll stick to the hassle-free experience Amazon offers when it comes to...
Read moreStopped in here a few days before Christmas and was really just browsing with my daughter. My shopping was done for the season, but an exceptional sales associate changed that. Customer service or simply being helpful is something rare these days, but the young lady that helped us proved to be quite the opposite. She was polite, helpful and seemed to really want to help us make a good choice in selecting a pair of shoes. Most sales associates these days avoid eye contact and focus more on their phones or each other than they do their customers. I was impressed with someone so young being so focused and efficient. We went in just browsing and came out with my daughter's first pair of Birks...We were handed a coupon as we left and it had the name Kayla on it. We are not sure if that was her name or just from a stack of prepared coupons that someone else had signed. We are headed back there tomorrow as my daughter wants to make good use of that $10 off our...
