Bob's Discount Furniture and Mattress Store — Local services in Stockton

My first time in Bob's. I was shopping for a lift chair to solve medical concerns. The sales associate (SA) was very helpful in choosing the one that was right for me. She checked availability, noting that the inventory system reported it was available and set up delivery for the next weekend. The next day (Mon) I got a call from the SA telling me that the chair is not in stock but they could sell me the floor model. I really wanted the chair, so I agreed. Then the day after (Tue), I got an email from Bob's cancelling the delivery. I could not get a satisfactory answer from the call center, so I went through Bob's laborious phone system to talk with the SA. The floor model, too, was sold. Now my only choice is to wait 4-6 wks for a color I would not prefer or 6-8 wks for the one I want. The SA said she would get the first one of either color that comes into the warehouse. Love the SA, dislike the inventory reporting and the headache it caused. Would up the rating depending on how it goes with the delivery of the chair.

AL was amazing it took me a while to search and decide on my new furniture but he followed up and gave me time to make my decision. I finally put my foot down and came in to make my purchase he was kind and understanding made sure I was happy with my purchase, I'm so excited!! AL let me walk through the store for extra things to add to my purchase, he even helped make color/decor suggestions which was great! I trolley and happy I got the goof proof warranty for incidentals. I get my delivery in a weeks time! Which was the best time for me they were going to deliver sooner but with my work schedule the weekend was best for me. All I see on here are positive reviews which is crazy because our experience with Bobs was not like the others. The staff were very pushy and not at all clear about prices. They tried to offer us a larger version of a sectional set without stating the prices. I had to ask multiple times to let me know what price they were trying to charge us. The delivery said it would be here by 10-10:30 am and did not get here until 1:30 pm. They did not notify us of any changes. They told us we could not get a warranty on our couches since we were financing them but I have multiple friends who have this warranty on their FINANCED couches.
