Zebop — Local services in Stone Harbor

I went into Zebop with my very well behaved 2 and 6 year old children. There were no other customers but several employees and their friends hanging out at the counter. After we had been in the store for a few minutes the employees decided to blast the music so loud that it wouldn't have been acceptable in a night club. My kids literally ran to me, holding their ears. I yelled to the garbage human working behind the counter "don't you think it's too loud for the kids?" She giggled and responded "yup!" in the most dismissive way possible and went back to her friends. I told her "i guess we'll have to leave then", and she responded "okay bye!" It was obvious they just wanted us gone.

I've been a customer of Zebop for as long as i can remember. We spend good money there every single summer. Not anymore. After this terrible experience we will not be going back, and will be advising our friends, family, and anyone who will listen to stay away.

I'm pretty sure everything in this store is knock-off from China being sold for more than the authentic...

I like this place, its very different from the rest of the beach town aesthetic, but I wish they carried more options in large sizes. There's a lot of one size pants, skirts, dresses that are uncomfortable if you are a US size L or up. Hours online are inaccurate, probably due to seasonal or day-to-day influences, but many establishments around here operate like that :) The music is incredibly loud by the children's section at the back by the register. Adorable psychedelic boutique! I had a bad experience trying to shop at another boutique in Stone Harbor. Unfortunately, even in 2023 some people judge you right away by your alternative appearance and tattoos, this store was the exact opposite! The employees were not only super welcoming, but incredibly helpful and really fun to talk to. I even bought an embroidered mushroom top for only $28 which is so cheap compared to every other boutique on the street! I will definitely be going back to buy some...
