This is the only bait shop near me for miles. With that said, someone could start a good business opening one in the mid/south east Dekalb County area.

The minows are ok. Many die before getting to the fishing spot. The worms are good, except the wax worms. But, the crickets are crap. Every time I get crickets from this place, 50% die before i get to the lake. The rest get gassy and lathargic as if in shock. A fishing buddy of mine gets his from a shop near him over in Rex, and they last for weeks.

This bait shop is the only one in the area as far as I know... it has worms, crickets, small & big minnows, and minnow buckets, cricket containers, bubble boxes, hooks, sinkers, rods & reels (a few), and all kinds of plastic worms/bait, etc. The prices are average. Fishing is expensive...lol. they are right on Covington Hwy in Lithonia near Stonecrest Mall. The store has snacks, cold drinks, etc and also gambling machines...

GREAT BAITSHOP. This is literally the best bait shop in the area I fish. I always stop at this place everytime I hit up lake Varner and the owner is great every single time. They pretty much have every tackle item you need (lures, weights, hooks, etc.) and also sell live bait. Last time I went, they had crickets, worms, minnows, big minnows, and even goldfish....
