Phenomenal shop. Run with two incredible women who are honest and bright and warm and straightforward and just know how to run a business. I immediately felt understood as to how I shop and was politely given space and help until I was ready for assistance. Also, the taste level is high. Taste isn’t something one can learn. It just is. And it is apparent in every piece that thought and taste were involved. I found so many items I loved for their uniqueness and hipness that I didn’t know what to put in the dressing room first. A gem and I look forward to chatting with these wonderful women and seeing what is in store next time I visit. They have a solid and loyal customer base now with me included. :) And for those negative reviewers, they probably are trying to consign items that just are not right for the store and clientele. Ignore even tho everyone has a right to their opinion. It is just that they are direct and know what they want. I appreciate that kind of communication as it is authentic personally. When I am traveling around, I like to pop into the local consignment shops. I first visited My Sisters Closet in October, and came away with 3 great items: the softest, warmest Vince long cardigan I wore all winter; a Free People Sweater and the baddest pair of moto boots. The quality of the clothes is really good- a good mix of very high end and some labels that are just out of reach for me retail. The store is well merchandized, the racks are not packed- the clothes have room to breath. I stopped in last week, and again, it was wonderful! Beautiful spring dresses, adorable hand bags, lots of designer jeans. I picked up a fun summer dress that I already know will be a staple, a funky Alice and Olivia sweater that was worth the fashion risk at a very reasonable price point, and a mini Kate Spade cross body bag of my dreams. And the best part- the owner was on site both times, and she is really a lovely and warm person. Providing great feedback, offering styling help and confirming when something didn't work for me.

The ladies here went over and above to help my husband find the very perfect Louis Vuitton bag for my birthday gift. And when I say over and above, I mean - my husband and son came to the store at least 4 times (to look at a new bag that came in on consignment), asked hundreds of questions, looked at a handful of bags that weren’t “right”. So over the course of the next few weeks they were in phone contact with my husband trying to track down “the bag”. 2 days before my birthday he finally let me in on the search - and brought me in. Needless to say we walked out with my very first Lois Vuitton bag. These gals went over and above the call of customer service, without ever knowing if my husband would actually pull the trigger on an expensive bag. I think it’s important to mention that my husband walked in in work boots and they treated him each time as if was not a guy more comfortable in a garage than a boutique discussing women’s pocketbooks!
