Painted Tree Boutiques — Local services in Sugar Hill

Such a neat concept of shopping! It's like a mini-mall of boutiques! My college aged daughters and I enjoy shopping here as they have boutiques to accommodate all ages. Given the entire store is individual boutiques, be prepared to see & pay elevated prices (as that is typical with boutiques.) We love to support the Local Shops and stores as much as we can. Sometimes we just walk through the store for inspiration and on occasion we get to meet the owners of the boutiques which is nice. Oh, if you see something that you want, you better grab it-it might not be there the next time you go back. If you happen to visit the restrooms, you'll probably be as impressed as I was. They are always so clean! Lastly, the cashiers, they kind of kill the whole vibe there. I have yet to meet one that is actually polite. They don't greet you, don't thank you, but will definitely judge you with their expressions. We tend to ignore their inability to serve the community and kill them with our southern hospitality and kindness. ...

So, I just left this store. I had been in the for over an hour and a half looking for Birthday presents. Ready to check out, I walked up to the counter and the girls at the register proceeded to tell me that they had already shut down the register down for the night. I could not make any of my purchases that I just spent a lot of time picking out. There was no announcement on closing time, I had no idea when that was, and I don’t even think they knew I was even still in the store. The girls had to unlock the door to let me out. I asked if there was a manager that could reopen the register and she told me that the manager was not on duty. Wow!! I am completely flabbergasted! Not to have to mention, very disappointed and I still need to find...

I came by to check out the space and possibly become a vendor with my pottery. My 11 year old son spent his money he saved up on $25 worth of Pokemon cards. We got to the car and he excitedly opened the first pack, which is when we realized these are counterfeit cards. I took my son back in, politely explained what happened. A manager was called, and I was informed that they would not refund the open pack. Selling counterfeit licensed merchandise is illegal. I asked if they were seriously willing to lose a customer and future vendor over $1.50 of a child’s allowance money. Yes, they were. I would highly recommend not trusting this Painted Tree with your business...
