I Luv Pho Mall of Georgia — Restaurant in Sugar Hill

The Male waiter working Oct 6 in the evening I’m pretty sure was drinking beer and hid it under the bus bin. Around 650-710pm. From start to finish he was totally clueless. He came to take our order of 5 adults and mom took a little bit longer and he tried storming away but the rest of the family told him nicely “wait your a$$ plz” and take the rest of our orders he kept looking around there wasn’t anyone for him ie 4 tables total were seated. The food was more expensive than the other local Pho24 and Saigon and honesty it was a bit bland, lacking quantity/flavor of meats and noodles (just tons of broth😂) and the waiter never filled our drinks once (1 of us asked and he only filled up 1 drink 😅). He couldn’t even pass the water around but just dropped one water off his tray at the end of the table and implied “pass this around I’m lazy as ….”. Overall he hated life and we could all tell. The wonderful ladies ran the food/soups to our table which was the only difficult part of the job and somehow they give you the check right from his hand/machine. We shoulda tipped him nothing but still gave 15% which I hope gets shared w the ladies.

If you have a nice restaurant and the first and last person you see is a total punk, then I understand why Saigon is full of people and Pho24 have better regulars.

I’ll give a 3 star for the amazing lady with a gold beaded necklace but outside her the staff don’t speak English or just don’t have any customer service😂.

Called 10x to place an order, no one answered the phone, and it kept going to voicemail. Asked for the manager when I arrived to complain about no one answering the phone. He claimed they were short staff and they were busy, but no one was in the restaurant. The person taking my order was rude, didn’t want to answer questions about the menu, and basically told me to leave from in front of the counter. Finally got my food, I only had two shrimp, and no egg roll, which was supposed to come with my order. Will not be returning & I would like a refund. Never had these issues at the Duluth location off of Satellite Blvd. The customer service at this location (Mall of GA) is horrible, they don’t make you feel welcomed, & they act like they don’t appreciate or need your business. The manager who I complained to acted like he didn’t care about my frustrations of not being able to order over the phone. 1/5 stars

Update: After a month of playing phone tag, I finally went up to the restaurant, and practically had to beg them to make my order over even though the owner reached out to me saying he would make my order over. The employees at the restaurant claimed they wasn’t aware. After 15 minutes of negotiations, they finally made my food over and it was good, but the still only give you like 2 or 3 shrimp, which is disproportionate to the amount of noodles. 3/5 stars only b/c one of the mangers explained that they are short staffed & they are having...

I Luv Pho is one of my favorite restaurants so I was very excited when they opened up this location since it’s a lot closer to home than the one in Duluth. We decided to stop in for lunch on Sunday and had one of the worst experiences ever. It was our anniversary and all we wanted was some delicious pho but it never happened. We sat there for 45 minutes, when finally I walked up to the counter to ask the young man that took our order how much longer it would be. He very rudely told me that he did not take our order and that he wasn’t even supposed to be taking orders. I knew he was in fact the one who took our order so I asked for him to check just to make sure. He then realized that the order was never sent to the kitchen and wasn’t even apologetic about it so we just left. I have worked in the restaurant industry for years and I understand that mistakes happen. However, he did not care that our time was wasted and did not even attempt to make it right while still acting completely irritated by my existence. There are many pho places these days, Pho 24 is just right across the street so we will be going there...
