Chong Qing hotpot Noodle House at JusGo Shopping Mall has left me thoroughly impressed with its exceptional culinary offerings. The deep-fried pork, a delightful combination of crispy exterior and juicy interior, stands out as a delicious appetizer. The rice noodles, skillfully prepared with meat, vegetables, and intestines, hit the perfect balance of spiciness and flavor. The use of fresh ingredients adds vibrancy, and the noodles exhibit an excellent texture.
The highlight of the entire restaurant, undoubtedly, is the wonton soup. Brewed for hours, the broth is rich and satisfying. The wonton skin is clear and beautiful, encapsulating delicious meat that leaves you craving more. It's truly one of the best wonton soups I've had in Houston.
To cap off this remarkable meal, their newest dessert, the red bean pudding, is nothing short of fantastic. It provides a perfect conclusion to an already stellar dining experience.
In conclusion, ChongQing hot pot Noodle House stands as one of the best noodle houses in Sugar Land. I highly recommend it for its outstanding dishes, and I'm eager to return for another delightful...
Read moreI’ve come here a few times for lunch when I wanted something tasty and fast. It is a small corner restaurant tucked inside of Jusgo in Sugar Land across from Mamak. There is very limited seating here but I have come with a group of six before and was able to be seated. Ordering is fairly straightforward with a few options and a create your own noodle section on the menu.
I tried the Fish Fillet & Tomato Noodle the first time and although I went against my instincts of ordering something spicy, this had a very good flavor for not being spicy. It was an excellent dish to warm up my body on a cool winter day.
The next time I came here, I ordered the Beef Tripe Hot Pot Noodle. I liked this one even more. Very spicy just like I like it! This one made me sweat.
There is not a lot to say other than this is a solid place to enjoy a quick casual meal. It’s a place to come in, expect quick service, eat and be on your way. Not really a place to hang out and visit.
Definitely worth a try if you want hot pot without the extra wait and complexity you might...
Read moreWe discovered this newly opened Chinese restaurant while shopping at Jusgo in Sugar Land. The menu is delightful and just right for my taste. We ordered Lamb rice and surprisingly found the amount of meat is very generous (I finished that dish so fast that I did not even get a full dish picture, lol). I can’t fault on anything of this dish, nicely balanced with cumin seeds and just the right amount of salt and lamb fat. It is delicious. We also ordered a lamb soup which came with mushrooms, black fungi and pepper. It was very rich in flavor, again plenty of lamb chop meats. The soup came with a lightly toasted Chinese styled bread. In addition, we ordered fried flat dumplings with Chinese chives, meats and eggs as fillings. A portion came with two pieces. It was cooked to its perfection, crispy on the outside with very thin crust, balanced flavors. I must admit it is one of the best fried flat dumplings that I ever ate in the U.S. Overall, it is a very nice meal at a reasonable price. Highly...
