This was one of our favs, even my daughters enjoy having açaí bowls! The fruits are fresh and we went every weekend since it opened, sometimes few times a week! The first several weekends,, it was consistently good. A couple weeks ago, the amount of açaí became less, so the ratio of the toppings and granola and the decreasing amount of açaí in the bowls were not good. I called and the GM and she said to come in and they’ll remake it, even though I said it’s ok. So I went in the next day, and that’s when she said they watched surveillance and confirmed it was made correctly, and they essentially accused me of trying to pull one over on them, and said it was exactly as how it was made previously. Like why would I lie? So this week, I ordered less granola (4oz instead 6oz) and the granola is stale! I still have rewards and things that I have to use up, so I’ll go again, but not sure if we’ll frequent it as often as before. Terrible customer service and now inconsistent quality/quantity. Used to be 5 stars, but...
Read moreFirst time here. I got their one of their popular smoothies but modified it --- vacation. Instead of frozen pineapple, I did mixed berries. Instead of almond milk, regular milk as almond milk is disgusting unless it's made from scratch and fresh. The smoothie was just what I wanted, not as sweet.
I noticed the "organic" milk used is Central Market's organic milk. Wish it was a better quality milk that's not ultra-pasteurized with no added vitamins. It is what it is.
I do feel their smoothie are better than the average smoothie franchise shop like Jamba Juice and Smoothie King because they use a lot of fresh fruits and juice some of them. So it's not all frozen. No idea if the fruits are organic.
It will be nice to see more "natural" protein options and not powder stuff. E.g. raw unsweetened nut butters (peanut/macadamia/cashew/almond), cottage cheese, hemp hearts.
Overall, the place is cute. I like the accent wall. The staff were...
Read moreThe only reason I am giving this an overall three star review is because of the misleading advertising versus online and what is in store or on the app. When I ordered the “Keto Bowl” (online) I was under the impression (first photo) I would get those items and fullness, however, in the second photo is what I received. Mind you I did not have the mozzarella, the balsamic glaze, or the basil. It was just the thin layer of avocado, hard boiled eggs, tomato, and everything season seasoning. I would have at least liked the fullness of the first photo just like any of their other bowls, which are good by the way. Paying $13 for not having a full bowl is disheartening but lesson learned. Order any other bowl just not the “Keto Bowl”. The service was good and accommodating to my concerns. I just don’t like to be misled by imagery that doesn’t meet a customer’s expectation and what is actually produced...
