Management needs to demote or fire Diane asap! Very lackadaisical and mildly ill-mannered. Walked in for a return, one cashier was already helping a customer and no one else in line. I skipping going through the line and went to her telling her I had a return. She told me to wait in line then left her register. After the other cashier finished with the customer, i told her the same thing and guess who does returns? We waited there for 10 minutes while the cashier constantly called on the speaker because her radio wasn’t working. And no it wasn’t a bathroom break cause we could see her at the back of the store doing nothing. When she finally came the lovely cashier helping me explained to her that I just walked out and came back to return a single item from my previous purchase, she asked 4 times what was wrong with it and we both said nothing, i just changed my mind, then she asked again, mind you she was ignoring me and conversing with the other cashier like I wasn’t even there. She then insisted the other cashier do it (which she couldn’t) and that i say in line. By this time, there was a line and i opted to step aside to let other customers get taken care of. After she saw that, she then reluctantly came back and did the return for me. Not sure what her problem is but she definitely shouldn’t be there if she can’t do her...
Read moreI went in to buy a coat today. I found this amazing Michael kors one and it had the Ross tag ripped off, so I went to the check out (front checkout) and asked the lady there what's the price she said $49.99 I was okay with that tried it on loved it. Then I went back to her again and told her to find me the scanned price because I wanted to be sure before actually checking out. She started taking to another employee in English assuming I didn't speak English saying "that's what these people do, they rip tags off items so they can get more of a discount and make our lives hell" I was like "?" When she scanned it it was $79.99 and then she rolled her eyes at me and was like "ofcourse you don't want it now" and I was literally speechless and walked out the store.
It's only been 2 weeks for me in huston and I've heard that this area is very diverse and its not racist, this was my first racist experience and it literally made me cry. I asked another employee that I want to speak to the manager, turns out the lady that was racist towards me WAS THE MANAGER.
Im posting this here so someone takes action. Im never walking into a ross store ever again. I don't care if you have the best deals. I have a video I'll post on social media about this experience as well. Very very...
Read moreOh my goodness, this was a terrible visit, not because ROSS in itself is bad, no its not, it's just that it fell short of what I've always come to expect from ROSS. So I've always shopped at ROSS, affordable clothes with great value and lots of options to choose from. On this particular day however it was not the case. I swear it felt like I was in a zombie apocalypse, the shop was mostly empty, lacking varieties and options. The store manager did tell me that they were still recovering from the Christmas shopping, I'm like "over a month ago?". Anyway, I didn't end up getting anything there and I was bummed. Nevertheless, I'll still shop at ROSS, they have the best price for value on clothes. Hopefully they get new inventories and stock up, I'll be hoping. Until then, I'll have to see what Marsh......Marsha....uughh I can't even finish saying it lol! I'm kidding I shop...
