I am learning to appreciate Aldi's more and more all of the time. Every time I visit the store, I discover a new product that I absolutely love. The no frills packaging and pricing are great. Heck, I've found some cheap wine I like there, too! And cheeses, although, when I've returned for one particular bleu cheese, they no longer had it on the shelf, but I'm told it's seasonal. I can deal with it! I have gotten great pork ribs, too. Milk and butter are so cheap. I'm not sure the price can be beat. Of course, like everywhere, a few drawbacks...I won't eat offbrand on a few particular items, but that's ok. For what I'm saving, I can pop in at the local market and pick up those things...Way to...
Read moreNormally I really like this Aldi store. However this time around kinda had a funky smell to it, which turned out it was coming from the fresh food section. The ladies there normally do a great job of weeding through what's not good anymore, but it looks like it hadn't been touched in a while. Also when I went to check out there were five people in line ahead of me and no cashier I wait another 5 minutes after those folks. A second cashier didn't come until a fellow Aldi worker needed to check out. Neither one of them greeted or said anything to the folks they were checking out. Read moreI just want to commend how polite"Wyatt" the checker we just had this PM. I had someone w/ me who is disabled so it takes a just a min or two longer checking out. He was very efficient plus very nice, which impressed me. After we boxed her groceries, I asked if it was ok to leave our cart by a bench near the door so we could sit there a moment until her Dad brought the truck around to pick us up. Wyatt said "Sure" & again was so polite! I also heard him greet & ask how other customers were doing as they came through his line. Just wanted to commend him....it did not...
