★☆☆☆☆ Absolutely Horrible Experience – Sonic in Sullivan, MO

I usually don’t take the time to leave reviews, but this experience was so unbelievably bad that I feel like people need to be warned. I stopped at the Sonic in Sullivan expecting a quick bite to eat, but what I got was over 45 minutes of sitting in my car, waiting on food that should’ve taken maybe 5–10 minutes at most. Fast food? Not even close. This was beyond ridiculous.

The worst part is that during my wait, I watched the employees. They weren’t busy rushing to get orders out. Instead, they were standing around, laughing, chatting with each other, and moving at a snail’s pace. There was no sense of urgency or care for the fact that customers were literally stuck waiting forever. It felt like my order was completely forgotten about.

By the time my food finally showed up, it was cold, soggy, and thrown together with no care at all. The burger looked like it had been sitting out for half an hour, the fries were stale, and the drink was watered down and tasted awful. To top it off, they didn’t even bother to include condiments or napkins. It was like they just wanted to shove the food out and be done with it.

On top of the terrible service and food, the place itself is dirty. The parking lot is full of trash, the stalls are sticky and gross, and the trash cans are overflowing. It gives off the vibe that nobody there cares about cleanliness or running this place properly.

This wasn’t just a “bad day” or a small mistake. This was a complete failure of management, staff, and basic customer service. Waiting nearly an hour for fast food, only to get a cold, low-quality meal, is unacceptable. If Sonic corporate saw how this location was being run, they’d be embarrassed.

Do yourself a favor: skip this Sonic entirely. There are plenty of other places around that will actually respect your time and your money. This one is a complete joke and by far the worst Sonic I’ve...

Placed an online order an paid through the app. Went threw the drive thru. Waited 30 minutes to get to the window. First they tried to get me to pay for a different order. I explained that I had a mobile order. It was paid. Waited 10 more minutes while they all fumbled around trying to find my order. They found part of my order. Brought me my drinks. Told me to wait again while they figure out what happened. Came back another 7 minutes later stating they don't know what happened. But wanted me to go wait thru the packed drive thru line again an tell them my name at the speakers. Again. An go threw the whole process. I told them I would just pull around to the parking spots up front an wait as long as they just bring my food right out. Which they said should be really quick. Waited another 30 minutes in the parking spot. Finally went up to the door. Asked what was going on with my food. Explained to the young kid at the door. What happened an why I was frustrated. He didn't have a clue. Finally some young lady brings my food out. An instead of checking to make sure they got my order right this time. I drove home another 15 minutes away. To find out they gave me the wrong burger. An messed my order up again. Very poor service. An no one seemed to cared. They were all running around trying to figure out what food went where. Was so excited a Sonic was built in Sullivan. We finally had a chance to stop and order lunch. The sad thing is that we will probably never be back. When we got our food, the fries were cold so we immediately sent the carhop back. When she brought back the new fries and apologized, the new fries were barely warm. They had been re-bagged, so the server wouldn't have known they were cold. We didn't send them back as we were almost finished with the burgers. The burgers were pretty tasteless and dry. My husband was so thankful his came with lettuce and tomato to give it some moisture. My double cheeseburger was sooo dry and had very little condiments on it and to top it off, about a third of the bottom half of my bun was hard. Peeling that off helped with the dryness of the burger. I know its fast food so expectations arent high, but, this was a very disappointing meal for both of us. I hope their...
