UPDATE: 10/21/21
CROSS CONTAMINATION and NOT SO FRESH.
I arrived before the place opened. I watched as the food handler removed the prior day's food containers from the case. With her gloved hand, she scraped the remains of the prior day's food on top of the fresh food, and then patted it down. I watched, fascinated, as she continued this process with each item. It was not until she scooped her gloved hand into the Spicy Hummus, and added the old Hummus to the new batch that she stopped. Apparently, her glove at that point was too dirty to continue. She removed the glove.
Why was the prior day's food being used if everything is fresh? Why did so much cross contamination take place? Why use your hand to scrape scraps on to fresh food?
I cannot answer these question. I refuse to eat here. Nastiness! First Review
The dishes are fresh and delicious. You can adjust your order to suit the day's craving.
I go when my favorite crew is on duty. The place is new, and some of the staff have trouble understanding that cross contamination is a problem. For that reason, I cannot give the place 5 stars, but when my crew is on duty...
I have enough for two meals when I order a bowl. The staff is friendly, clean, and orderly. My food is tasty. Get an order of Baklava for later. ...
Read moreI will never come back to this location. For starters, the store advertises curbside pick up. A feature that a lot of us find to be helpful during this time especially a customer like myself who was traveling with her two young children and dog in the car. I followed the directions to text my information for my order, as well as give a courtesy call however, there was no response. I waited for twenty minutes before finally walking to the door to ask if the location was actually offering curbside pick up? The man behind the counter brushed me off and said not anymore. He didn’t bother to ask if I had already placed an order. A customer in line who had realized what was going on made the kind gesture to watch after my car as I stood at the door to make sure that my children were safe. I asked if they at least had my order, the staff peeked over the counter but ignored me. So another customer in line began to ask why they weren’t meeting my request for the order I had already paid for. After all of this, an employee finally came from behind the counter to check to see if my order was ready and finally brings it to me with an attitude. I’m highly upset and hope that no one else has to experience this inconvenience and terrible customer service at this location and I certainly won’t be...
Read moreI enjoy Mezeh. I think Mezeh is definitely a great option over Chipotle. The Bowls are delicious because you select your toppings, and dressings. I did go here for lunch yesterday around 1:20pm and the staff there was definitely rude. It was my mom and I and because of how we wanted to add more meat (They shake the spoon just like Chipotle) and makes sure to give you a very very very small portion of meat it. When you ask for a little more they catch a attitude with the sighing, the rolling of their eyes and just attitude. I usually brush it off but my mom definitely received more attitude than I did. They stepped away spoke to one another, looked at my mom and rolled their eyes. We were in total shock. I can brush a lot of stuff off but she was definitely offended because we normally get great customer service here. I know everyone is not to blame for a few people but respect is something my family and I believe in because working in service is bad enough.
But beyond our experience the bowl was beyond delicious. Everything paired so perfectly. I like the cleanliness of the restaurant and usually I like the staff because they...
