ALDI — Local services in Sun Prairie

Now this is my regular store!!!

Good: Very good competitive prices. (I almost stopped going to Woodman's) Regular prices of Milk, Bread, Butter, Banana, Salt, Sugar is less that any other store in the area. Small store & neatly arranged. We can be in and out in quickly once we know the store and know what we want. Now they accept credit cards too (even AmEx). Though the prices are going up since then. Everything is pre-weighed and barcoded or priced on quantity rather than weight. So faster checkouts. Has everything for daily needs, regular grocery, kitchen items, garden items etc.

Bad (No much though): Very less employees. Sometimes we need to wait to checkout as there may not be even a single cashier. Shopping Carts - need 25 cents deposit which we get back on returning cart. (Not that bad, but hate it in winter). Since everything is pre-weighed, we have no choice to change bad produce & have to accept it as is. Do not carry common brands - I am totally okay with it. We need to bag our own grocery. Bags are not free either. Thought not costly...

ORGANIC AND NATURAL FOODS CAN BE FOUND HERE-EVEN SEASONAL ITEMS-ALDI PRIVATE LABEL ITEMS ARE JUST AS GOOD AS THE NAME BRANDS. ALDI CARES ABOUT THEIR QUALITY CONTROL. AND THEIR RETURN POLICY CAN'T BE-BEAT!. I LIVE FOR: THEIR WEDNESDAY AND SUNDAY DAYS!. CALL'EM TO SEE OR ASK YOUR LOCAL STORE'S MANAGER IF THEY LET ELDERLY OR DISABLED INDIVIDUALS COME IN AND SHOP BEFORE THEIR STORE OPENS TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC. BE SURE TO CHECK OUT THEIR AISLE OF SHAME!, IT'S USUALLY THE MIDDLE AISLE - IT LOOKS OUT OF PLACE - BUT BELIEVE YOU ME - YOU CAN FIND SOME GREAT AFFORDABLE STUFF IF YOU REALLY LOOK OR DIG A LITTLE BIT.

Love Aldi selection and prices. Their weekly deals are always a surprise and have some great options. I really like the non-food items and love that they change each week so that things are fresh and new. The staple items they carry are tried and true and they aren't afraid to add new foods along the way to peak customer interest. They continue to add in healthier products and I hope they continue to expand on that as we all can do more to eliminate the things that are bad for us and look toward better nutrition in general. In fact I would like to see them do a separate section of lower sodium lower sugar etc items to help the customer save some time in the store. Despite that I will always be an Aldi fan.
