I walked-in last minute to get two small table arrangements for my sister-in-law and old neighbor. I was pleasantly surprised at the colors and selection of flowers! And Grace was so good to me. ♥️ I told her my wish list (cute & compact, desired colors, 1-2 preferred flowers, and "full looking") and then I gave her my budget. She helped me find the perfect vase to make sure I stayed within my means. She did not try to upsell me to more expensive flowers or a larger arrangement. When making the arrangements, she checked-in with me to make sure it was to my liking. If I had the foresight, I would have called a few days ahead. For a last minute idea, the arrangements were so lively, vibrant, and beautiful. I imagine if I had called sooner, she'd be able to make an out-of-this-world arrangement with notice. Wow! What a great experience. Went in with a top hat and asked the man and woman there to help me make it festive for a holiday party. They were inquisitive and asked what I had in mind, and were very helpful when I said I kind of just wanted a sprig of something fun that would really make the hat pop. They went in back and came out to clarify, "is a plaid pattern ok?" Yes! Minutes later they returned with a gorgeous arrangement that fit nicely in the spot on the top hat that normally holds a feather. They first asked if that was what I was after, and when I said, "Yes, this is amazing!," they gave me a very fair price. Really excellent customer service. They have loads of great things in the shop, so I will return there when I want a nice arrangement. Very happy to have found them. Great people, great products, great service, and great prices....

I had a desperate last-minute business need on a SUNDAY for those little florist cards, and I happened to be riding my bicycle past the Flower Cottage for the first time and saw the door was open. I stopped by with all fingers crossed but not much hope. Grace (the owner) happened to be working in the back of the store getting ready for the week (the store was actually closed). She listened to my plight and then GAVE me 25 of the cards for FREE. She is one classy lady who helped out a stranger in need and didn't expect anything in return. As a result, she is now my exclusive florist!
