So after a few years of waiting for the pool to open to the public you notice it is in use and eventually you find a mention of the Community Swim schedule on an entirely different web page called "sunnyvale splash" so you roll on over there and that is when they tell you six year old kids need their parent to go in the pool with them so you have to go back home and then come back again and at long last you finally get to experience what is a very nice pool.

I guess the city is hiding useful information from the public to keep the pool uncrowded. That will help keep the limited amount of bicycle parking...

This public pool is fantastic and I’m so happy to have found it! The facility is clean and modern, and the water is very warm, perfect for a comfortable swim with little kids. There are lifeguards on duty, which gives extra peace of mind. It’s not too crowded, especially around midday on the weekend. Love how the shallow end is only 2.5feet, perfect for kiddos new to swimming. Pool is clean and spacious. Locker rooms have plenty of space. Bring your own lock! They require you shower before entering pool however i have yet to be able to get warm water out of the showers. Be prepared for an ice cold quick rinse!
