The ONLY place I take my best friend, ( my cat. ) Everyone here LOVES your cat and treats them like it's their own. The staff is fantastic and so helpful. They always answer all my questions & give me clear choices on treatments. They've always been truthful and do their very best to help not only your cat but, also you. They know how to handle delicate situations with extreme care & thoughtfulness. Dr. Frank, is a cat whisperer lol. Cassie & all of the staff are great, wonderful caring ppl. They have helped my cat several times & have ALWAYS treated him like a rock star. Also, I've never had to be concerned when he stays over night. The cat hotel is very clean and there's plenty of room for my cat to be comfortable. Also, in 2 of the rooms they have a glass wall that has actual live birds, ( small ones, ) that the cats can look at. Which my cat loves. Since the pandemic they have used safety precautions to keep their staff safe. Which I appreciate. They have you call and inform them you're there. They immediately come to your car to get your cat and rush him inside. I've also come to the door and waited outside to make it easier on them. You may not be allowed in right now but, they go out of their way to get your cat, and return him to you. I like to just pull up front & let them know I'm there so they don't have to run across the parking lot. Half the time it's raining or extremely hot and i feel horrible making them come out to me, when I can easily just pull up to the door. Obviously I'm a big fan of theirs and I wanted to explain why. I've been bringing my cat here for years, and he's not at all easy to deal with lol. They make it so simple for him & are great people I really...
Read moreYou never know what you have until it's gone. But yet I did know. We moved away from the area but our cats saw Dr. Frank for years. He was always professional, pleasant, kind but firm with giving the cats their exams. Unlike just about every other veterinarian around in the world that we've encountered otherwise before and after him, he did not require our cats to be sedated in order to be seen by him. This is a big deal if you don't like your cats being drugged. Why are all the other vets so afraid of cats? Dr. Frank is not. Also Dr. Frank and his veterinary techs do almost everything in front of you including drawing the blood for tests, instead of whisking your cats out of sight and doing God knows what to them like what can happen at other vets. Dr. Frank has obviously showed his techs how to restrain cats properly too so the cat can be handled well. While his services do cost more than other vets, he's worth it because of his years of experience ,solid opinions, advice and techniques. He always gave us options and choices for care and never tried to upsell us. Wish we could have taken you where we moved, Dr. Frank and you are missed greatly by us...
Read moreI really don't typically write negative reviews, but I find myself feeling disappointed and frustrated and thought I should share my experience - and I never even got through to make an appointment! I was anxious to build a relationship with a new vet and bring my new kitten in for an exam and neutering. I figured what a better place to bring a new kitty but to a place that ONLY treats cats! :-) So I called Nine Lives last week, someone answered the phone, I said I was a potential new client and had a couple questions. She asked if she could put me on hold and go to the front desk. And then I waited -- for at least 15 minutes, and no one ever came back to the phone. I made the assumption that she would surely look at her caller ID and call me back - but she never did. Today I called again, first thing in the morning at 8:30. I left a message on the voicemail asking if someone would please call me. I never got a call. I find this shocking because the reviews all look wonderful, which was why I decided to call in the first place. I'm moving on to...
