I do not live around here and I am only on this side of town of I happen to be at Sawgrass, which it is 2-3 times a year counting Xmas. Sunday 8/29 I decided to stop in since I have never been to this Ross and I happened to be on this side of town. All I have to say is never again. The customer service from most not all is horrible. Starting with the dressing room attendant, I am not sure who gave her the right to ask my 15 year old son questions on how his pants fit in certain areas. She didn’t think I spoke English when she was talking to him and I could understand her. Once she heard me speak to him she did not know what to do and quickly walked up to her corner behind a rack of fitting room clothes. Unprofessional! I was going to bring it up to the attention of the store manager but quickly saw how another store rep was speaking to another customer and told myself it would be useless. We decided to quickly head to the cash register to pay and leave where we were the only ones in line and the male cashier saw me standing there and decided to walk off and start a conversation with another associate by the door. Maybe around 10 min wait with absolutely no line and no customers at cash register. Once he returned to his cash register he called us over and got impatient that I was not rolling the cart fast enough over to him, yet he made me wait while he finished his socializing. At this point, I just wanted to leave and my son was feeling uncomfortable after the interaction he had with the dressing room attendant so we just wanted out. The male cashier obviously was upset during his shift so aggressively and with an attitude asked to remove the hangers. I never mind specially if it is to speed up the process but the way he said it was with so much entitlement of him not handling the clothes if no hangers were removed. I believe it is there job no? I did it anyways because again, I WANTED OUT OF THERE! Such a nice area with Sawgrass and all these other shops but such a horrible ROSS, it felt like a rundown outlet store and nevermind the loud and obnoxious customers but that’s...
Read moreThe manager Janet was rude. There was a water bottle I had a question about and (when I was next in line btw) I approached her she answered me nodding yes or no. also asked her about the earrings she had on hold for me and she said "what ever cashier attends you ,will give it to u" (thinking that her cashier was open)
RIGHT when I go back to the line she says "ONLY DEBIT OR CREDIT" to the angry couple BEHIND me. I apologized to the couple and said "I was next". When I approached JANET She did not smile once , even after I asked about her day .She brought back the subject about how the water bottle is not the same as the other and repeatedly said it to prove her point (some thing a STORE MANAGER shouldnt do) .
I was just about to pay until I reminded her about the earrings and she said "you're suppose to tell me" . And that's SECONDs before she told me "what ever cashier attends you will give it to u". She was in a terrible mood I asked her if I can pay cash and she just LOOKED at me with no expression. NOT nodding yes or no.
Honestly I wanted to cry from anger since I knew I had to be the bigger person and refused to be some angry customer filmed at a store.
I felt offended . I'm a Hispanic woman. I believe women should stick together . Women go through enough in the business industry last thing u need is a STORE MANAGER (JANET ) to be a bad example especially if she's dealing with customer service.
All I can do it give my opinion as a local guide. If corporate finds out , let that be on their own. I definitely dont want to be a cause for her unemployment.
On a positive note ;The Store was clean .
