Sawgrass Square is like that quirky friend who tries really hard but sometimes forgets what they’re supposed to be. One minute you’re browsing stores that look like they belong in a mall, the next you’re in a strip plaza wondering if you took a wrong turn into suburbia.
Parking is a fun game of “Will I find a spot, or will I just drive around for eternity?” Spoiler: sometimes you just drive around for eternity.
The stores are a mixed bag — some gems hidden among what feels like an outlet for ‘last decade’s leftovers.’ The food options? Good enough to fuel your shopping hunt, or your existential crisis.

Read moreThey attract good businesses here. The Publix is bright with wide aisles and feels nicer somehow than others we’ve visited. The already cute and boutique-y Hallmark just got updated. The Dunkin’ that opened last year seems to be running a steady business, as are Chick-fil-A, Chili’s, First Watch and Golden Crust. We tried the Chinese food place four years ago and it’s okay but not authentic enough for us, but it’s still popular.
The soon to come addition of a Michaels and a Five Below will only make this plaza’s offerings better and accentuate its only downside: not great parking.
