Every time I come here they are rude, dismissive, or they have an attitude. I have met some very kind people here, but sadly, they never end up helping me.
I purchased my bike here and will not take it here for any service at all. I will go out of my way to get parts and things I need from another Ride Now or another dealer that does not work on my make of motorcycle.
I'm leaving this review because of an issue I had quite a while ago. I scheduled an appointment a few weeks out from my trip to have my tires changed. The guy did not look at me in the eyes the whole time. Fine, maybe he had a bad day? I asked him an estimate on every thing and he writes down an amount. I go along my way, come back and drop my motorcycle off when they have everything. Turns out, he ordered the wrong rear tube. The guy promises to get the rear tube in time for my trip. Gives me an estimate for a few days out. Good. That gives me a few days to install other parts on my bike.
Nope still didn't come in. I asked if I could get a tube to them by the end of the day (it would be right at closing time) and he was very discouraging about it. I trusted him to have the tube in time. He told me it was going to be there the day before my trip and he'll have it installed, and that he will make sure it gets done in the morning right when they get it in. My motorcycle was at Surprise Ride Now for nearly two weeks at this point. The day I was supposed to get a call, I had a funny feeling so I called late morning asking about my motorcycle. No one knew what i was talking about. The guy on the phone had to go and check to see if the rear tube actually came in. Luckily, it did. He then had to schedule and make sure my tires would get replaced by the end of the day because turns out the guy I've been working with, who told me he had it covered and would call me, was not in that day. Wow. So no one knew. If I did not call, I would have been SOL.
Anyway, I got my motorcycle at the end of the day. They were going to charge me 250 more than what the guy quoted me. I was upset because of the way I was treated by him and the whole ordeal (he was nice to me at some point but still had a careless attitude). No way. Their break down of the service and parts was silly. They were trying to convince me they applied the discount they offer for ordering tires through them. It took a little bit but I ended up with the price I was originally quoted. There was no way I was going to pay that especially because: Not the biggest of issues, but big for me for bad service: they installed my rear axle on the wrong side. My axle nut was now on the left side of my bike instead of the right. I did not have them fix it.
I have other friends who hate coming here for the same reason. My last issue was looking at battery prices while a friend was browsing motorcycles. I was clear about what I was doing. The guy left in the middle of helping me and let someone else finish. The new guy got pissed off at me for not buying the battery, on top of not wanting to go with his suggestion. I was on a motorcycle with no way to carry a battery. This same guy, I found him in another Ride Now a few months later. He was way nicer and calmer. So, why are they jerks here? Why is this place so different from other Ride Nows?
It's definitely...
Read moreI got the opportunity to work with salesman James Boyd. He was really cool and made me feel welcomed. Answered every question that I had to the best of his ability.
Ben Anderson in Finance was a more on the "pushy" side especially when it came to added on maintenance and service contracts. I wish in the future he would be more transparent and show customers an itemized sheet or breakdown of exactly what you would be paying for. Instead, I was told how much the service contract would cost monthly and how "cheap" it was for having piece of mind if something were to happen to the bike. I personally believe that it was a play just to get me to finance a higher amount. It also boosted the monthly payment after getting to a number that I felt comfortable with. I know that there job is to "sell" but at least do it honesty and with some morality. It felt forced especially after I told them what I was quoted by a different James in internet sales. When I asked James in internet sales for an "out of the door price" I got a decent number that I thought could work for me. This was all communicated over text message before I went to the dealership. When I told Ben what I was quoted, he told me that what I got quoted didn't include taxes. I felt that it was so rushed that I didn't even get the name of the bank that I financed with. Me of course being concerned about when my first payment is like any normal person with a new loan, I had to go back ask Ben about it. He told me that I would receive a welcome letter in the mail in about 2 weeks and turned back around to continue his conversation with other employees.
The zx6r is an amazing bike! I have no issues with the bike. All I wish is that going forward that for sales and finance you take your time and listen to customers and be transparent with the sale. You guys will get a lot more repeat business and referrals that way. I honestly have to say that I won't be purchasing anything else from Ridenow in Surprise. In no way, shape or form was this feedback use to degrade or bash this particular dealer. This was just my honest experience of how my purchase went.
I still wish you guys the best. Have a...
Read moreWe filed a complaint with the BBB over a month ago against RideNow PowerSports out of Surprise, AZ In that complaint, we sited instances of misrepresentation and complete lies by their staff. We questioned having to title in AZ and they said that was required, it is not. They also overstated, by large amount, the work it takes to prep our new vehicle. They did not do several things that did need to be done so we had to bring it in when we got home to have the issues resolved. We lost 2 weeks of riding because of their oversights..
RideNow PowerSports' response to the case filling was “This case is currently under review. We appreciate the opportunity to review and respond to our customer's questions and concerns.” We have not received a letter, call, email, text or any other communication concerning this complaint from RideNow.
We did receive a letter asking us to send information and complete forms to assist in the transfer of the title for the trade in vehicle. All of which they stated were required by the AZ MVD. The requests seemed questionable, so I called the AZ MVD and spoke with a supervisor. He said the requests were not MVD requirements and that I could do nothing to transfer the title. I responded to the email requesting the information from RideNow PoweSPorts I received a response saying that the AZ MVD information provided by the supervisor was incorrect and that one document was part of their package which they did not need, the request for my driver's license was for their records, not the AZ MVD and they required a Power of Attorney be signed and returned. They stated someone would call to discuss this. Again, we never received a call.
Before we filed a complaint, we called RideNow PowerSports and spoke with Nick, service manager. He said they had dropped the ball and offered to give us some compensation for the issues. We did not receive a check, even after a second call and assurance the check would be in our hands within a week (that was several weeks ago).
Their lack of response shows a complete disregard for customer satisfaction after the sale.
We are still waiting for contact from therm and...
