I was waited on by Katlyn. She serviced me in the dressing room. She approached me in a warm friendly manner. She carried my selections into the dressing room. After I had tried on several pieces, I found a dress that I liked. She came back into the dressing room area to ask me how I was doing. She complimented me on my dress choice. I asked her about a cover up for the dress. She brought back several possibilities. She recommended a linen jacket. It was a perfect recommendation and I loved it, but it was too large. She offered to order a smaller size for me, and she explained that it would be delivered to my home within 8 to 10 days. I was delighted! She carried my selections to the cash register and completed my payment transactions efficiently (I have a Loft credit card). Her manner was so warm and friendly that it moved me to write this rating. I am an older woman, and I know that Loft appeals to the younger generation; however, I honestly have to say that I felt so welcomed by Katlyn at this location, that for a little while, I felt ageless! She helped me to see that Loft clothing and accessories are for women of every generation! All my thanks to Katlyn, her manager and the sales staff. I encourage other older women (I am 65!) to consider Loft when they are looking for clothing that not only meets contemporary trends, but that also meets the particular needs of the more mature figure. Read moreI normally love LOFT; I shop there every season and am always happy with the quality and fit of the clothes. However, the quality of service at this LOFT is truly horrendous and while I am in the Harrisburg area, I will be shopping elsewhere. The sales associates and managers are mean - there is no word more appropriate for them. I have gone in here at least ten times, during the day, on the weekends, holiday season you name it, and every time they are SO RUDE - regardless of how busy they are. They can't be bothered to help me with additional sizes or answering my questions. They never crack a smile. They act like I am imposing on them when I walk into the store.
I have years of retail experience under my belt and am very understanding when it comes to associates having a bad day. And a 2nd one. And a 3rd. But after my fourth time of feeling completely uncomfortable in their store, I've come to realize it is a consistent problem. Read moreI went in to pick up an online order around Christmas. I went back and forth with writing this review, but my the customer service I received was horrible. I have had a loft account for over 11 years, and I’ve lived many different places. This was the most unprofessional service over ever received. There was a blonde women who asked my name, which is not a complex name by any means. I told her twice and her boyfriend/husband was there too maybe in the back room of the store where she headed to retrieve my order as she’s mumbling in a giggle to him, “whatever her name is, I’m getting her order.” Luckily, my order did not fit, I returned it and have no bought from there since. It was so unexpected that normally had I not been so tired from working all day, I would’ve addressed it. This is not the customer service I expect from this company.
